Am I the only person who really likes the 370 interior? I walk past a newish Cayman on the way to work and while it looks like a nice enough interior, I can't say it looks miles better in either design or quality. I like the design of the Z with the dash mounted dials and while the materials aren't exactly luxury, they're far from being bad quality. Maybe I'd feel differently if I actually sat in the Cayman but from the outside I don't see what all the fuss is about. I do quite like the F-type's interior.

Stating the obvious, the aesthetics are a matter of personal opinion. I much prefer the Mk1, but the majority seem to prefer the facelift. Drive wise, I doubt there's a noticeable difference from the very minor suspension tweaks to the later model. Engine - identical. Exhaust - identical (too quiet). Interior - slight changes to some of the plastic colours on the Mk2 and much nicer seats. Parts for the Mk1 seem to be more expensive e.g. Nissan quote for rear bumper - Mk1 - £1,200 + VAT. Mk2 - £369 + VAT. Price wise the older model seems to be holding its value fairly well so you won't save a fortune by going for it over the Mk2. Both are rare on the road. I've never seen another Nismo. The Mk1 will be rarer due to its short production run. For all its deficiencies in the eyes of some and negative comparisons to German rivals I'd absolutely recommend one - either version. Puts a huge smile on my face every time I look at mine and every time I drive it. Hope that helps.

Be interesting to see if VR really establishes itself this time. I'm remember when it was first on the games scene in the 1990s, but it was as niche as niche could be and didn't catch on. The graphics were pants, obviously (although nobody thought so at the time), and people complained about headaches and motion sickness. I find if I play a normal game for more than about three hours these days I don't feel great. Lord knows how I'd get on with VR.

As above from Sipar, some guys get the EML light removed during remap. But I have still heard of cars with this mod that do occasionally still throw the light. I think James' car did this? For the un-resonated pipes I don't have much of a comparison so can't say either way on this. Yeah ATM I am running ART test pipes and stock Nismo CBE. It is pretty tame right so so not sure what I'll do in the future. Its a shame they made the Nismo exhaust only slightly louder than the standard car. It's a nice bit of kit, just too quiet.

I seem to recall that as part of the remap process on mine Mark disabled the sensor. Prior to that I was getting occasional CEL warnings as a result of having the Stillen CBE and Cobra High Flow Cats fitted. That was about three years ago and I haven't had a CEL light since.

At least it's based on the proper version of the Nismo and not the watered down facelift (but I still wouldn't buy one even if I did have a spare £88k knocking about the place).

I've found myself spending a lot of time looking at videos of the F Type S recently. Not the fastest potential upgrade from the Z, but the more I see of them the closer one gets to the top of the next car list.

Is that Storm White? I don't want to add misery to an already bad situation but just make sure you use a very good body-shop - it's a three stage paint and not easy to match.
