  1. In 48 years of life I've known a fair few people go through break ups (me included). I've never encountered anyone who doesn't get over it after a while. Big cliche, but it's true that time heals.
  2. My better half's house sale had this issue. The dotty old buyer decided late in the day that she wanted her middle name included in the contract. It was amended properly though, not in pen. Didn't take long. I'd get it done properly if I were you.
  3. I know looks aren't everything in a car, but I simply can't imagine going from something that looks as good as your Z to something as bland looking as the M140i. I know they're supposed to be a good car but they look as interesting as a brick on wheels.
  4. Very difficult to say. Perhaps expect to get about two thirds of the value? Delivery will also be quite costly if the buyer can't collect. Sorry to hear your car was keyed. I f'ing hate people who do that. Where was the car at the time?
  5. Parts list for the Mk1 spoiler. Not cheap! http://www.courtesyparts.com/auto-parts/2014/nissan/370z/nismo-trim/3-7l-v6-gas-engine/body-cat/spoiler-scat

    Cobra HFC 370z

I've got them. Sound great and no issues with my first MOT last year. According to Mark at Abbey, the Cobras are supposed to have a better internal construction than the Berks, which makes MOT emissions fails less likely. Cold start video (with Stillen CBE): http://vid1294.photobucket.com/albums/b617/sipar69/IMG_0051_zps6f192cb4.mp4 As with all HFCs, you may well get a CEL once they're fitted. The best way to deal with that is to get a remap and have the relevant sensor disabled at the same time. I was getting a CEL quite regularly until I had a remap and haven't had one since.

    370Z Nismo

    There aren't any. Manual only.

    370Z Nismo

At the very least budget an additional grand for a new exhaust.

    370Z Nismo

Some will tell you that it makes more sense to buy a standard car and mod it, but having owned both variants, I'd say go for the Nismo. You can pick up second hand low mileage Nismos for £25k-30k.
  10. Unfortunately, Junior isn't the fantastic character his dad was.
  11. So why were several other people arrested ? It's NEVER just one person, others albeit might not be helping they KNOW and aren't reporting. And IS did claim responsibility for it via Aamaq News Agency. They'd claim responsibility for a cat stuck up a tree if they thought it'd get them a bit more publicity.
  12. I liked Eubank (senior), for his boxing and for being such an entertaining character. Never a dull moment with him. Tyson was another compelling watch.
  13. Feels quite significant to me - I used to walk over that bridge to work every day. I think it's natural that when something happens at home we tend to feel its signifcance more than events elsewhere in the world. We're not computers and the way we react to events is influenced by more than just numbers of people killed. I also think we naturually tend to relate more to events that happen in places that appear to have a similar culture to our own e.g. New York 9/11. I'm not saying that's how it should be, but I do think it's a natural reaction.
  14. Can't stand MMA. Favourite boxer - Marvin Hagler. True warrior.
  15. I've been reading quite a bit about this recently. Some articles suggest it will be closer to £40k for the standard car and £50k for a later high performance version. Looks wise, it would benefit from a modest spoiler. The interior looks very nice and if the drive is as nimble as promised I wouldn't rule one out when the time comes time to say farewell to the Z.
  16. Looks great. Can't wait to hear about the TT install. When is it taking place?
  17. Well Im looking forward to living in a listed building especially because there's already a pole in the garden for the Sky dish.
  18. We've been reasonably happy with our solicitor and the estate agent who dealt with the sale of Jane's flat. But I do feel like whenever progress has been made it has been due to us nagging and pressing for updates. You end up feeling as though you've done most of the work yourself.
  19. Try buying a house that's Listed. We had to pull out of a purchase recently because there was no record of the relevant permission for a loft conversion. Now we're back at square one (the place we've offered on now is also Listed but they've got the relevant paperwork). Can't say I'm ever going to want to go through this again!
  20. I can show you what the Mk1 spoiler looks like with the Mk2 bumper. I did it the other way around though after someone dented my rear bumper ie changed the Mk1 bumper for the Mk2. I expect you could change the Mk2 spoiler for the Mk1.
  21. Legend. THOSE guys had real grit.
