  1. I've got a pristine front Z badge if you want for free. I put it on the car for about a week before removing it and putting some different ones on. It's the satin silver finish. You'd just need to add some double sided backing tape to fit it (and buy the rear badge obviously).
  2. Nice. Beautiful thing. Not as well known as the Vulcan.
  3. Random fact - my dad was based at Marham in the 70s when the base was home to Victor tankers.
  4. Looks good. Did you use a particular product for the bay?
  5. I'm sure some of the initial bad reviews of the Nismo's ride quality were down to those.
  6. If it's any use to anyone in here, the firm we used for the sale of Jane's flat and who are now dealing with our purchase are called Howells (based in Wales). They've been pretty good and always reply to emails/pick up the phone promptly.
  7. Yet another video of someone leaving a car event, trying to impress the bystanders and coming unstuck. Looks like the P was overdoing the speed a bit but clearly the Morgan moron was at fault.
  8. Our solicitor is pretty good but the seller's is utter pants. Our's emailed them a list of queries two weeks ago. Yesterday they claimed never to have received them (and were duly presented with both the original email and their own ackbowledement of it).
  9. You have the same wheels as me right (Mk1 Nismo)? I'd recomnend getting both wheels on that side of the car done and definitely leave the car with them. They're a three stage paint finish so difficult to colour match.
  10. Id be intetested to hear about it. You should definitely start a new thread in the Other Cars section when you get it.
  11. Expensive OEM mats are a waste of money. Mine came with them and they soon started wearing out. Have a quick Google - there are plenty of companies who will make mats to fit your car and give you options for colour, material, logo etc. I paid £50 for a set of heavy duty rubber mats about four years ago and they still look as good as new
  12. What else are you doing when driving... 80% of your attention should be dedicated to car spotting at all times I'm getting old, so attempting not to fall asleep at the wheel or drive the wrong way down the motorway.
  13. I wouldn't assume it's an unfriendly person bud. It's probably someone like me with slow waving reactions. It's happened at least three times - I get a wave but by the time I've worked out what's going on the other guy is long gone.
  14. I've never been bothered about them either but my resistance is weakening!
  15. I love the Z for many reasons and still get a heck of a kick out of mine, but when I look at the sort of finance deals Porsche offer on the new Cayman S it's hard not to be tempted (especially by one in Miami blue).
  16. Doubt I'll wait that long. But it will be good to see a new Z if it materialises.
  17. Point is, it's pointless. To remain relevant the Z needs a major refresh. I love 'em, but if Nissan don't update it properly (new engine, new tech etc.) the already relatively small customer base will wander off and but something different. I know I will.
  18. So annoying, especially after all the work you've done on the car. It's one of the reasons I got a car cover for mine - people don't seem to notice it when it's covered. Not much you can do if you were out and about though. I'm sure it'll look great after the paint.
  19. Fair enough. I guess car looks are a matter of personal taste to a great extent. I agree the Connect Premium is quite dated now compared to some of the more up to date systems.
  20. Happened to me too. When we stayed at a pub and were having breakfast, you could see the Z from the window. An American kid was telling his dad "that white car is a GTR."
