  1. Set of OEM Mats for a 370Z. They came out of my new car which is an ex-demonstrator so have had some light use. They are generally in very good condition with just a slight amount of wear around the area of the driver's left heel. I'd give them 8 out of 10 for condition. I believe these retail at about £80 new. I'm asking £35 plus £6 postage (or collection from Twickenham). Payment to be made by bank transfer, Paypal or cash on collection. Please PM me if interested. Cheers
  2. No.91 Very happy with the car. Definitely feels sharper and more pokey than my previous 370s. Exhaust sounds loud enough for me too, which is a relief for the bank balance!
  3. I'm a bit slow when this happens. Don't mean to be rude but the other guy has usually gone by the time I've realised what's happening!
  4. Mine too. Also great for my other half as we'll, whose only 5ft.
  5. Not sure but I think if you create a 'photo bucket' account you can upload the video there and post a link on here (same applies to photos).
  6. Great selection. Have you ever thought about stocking the HKS system? Saw a vid of one recently and it sounded very nice. Don't seem to be easy to get here though.
  7. Hmmm I remember when we picked up our first Z from Winchester the salesman said the wife of the guy who owns the dealership was in her 70s and drove a 370z........
  8. I feel your pain. Lost my wallet today, cards, driving licence, the lot looks like you have to pay £20 to get a new licence.
  9. Enjoy the car I would definitely get those sensors painted. Personally I think the one absolutely essential mod is an exhaust. I've returned mine to stock recently pending a part exchange and I can't believe how naff it sounds compared to the relatively tame Stillen exhaust I had on the car.
  10. I can see where you're coming from. It's obviously sad, especially for his family. But I suppose the question is, if this was just two random members of the public instead of a guy who was in some films, would we be slating them for driving dangerously and potentially putting other people at risk in the process?
  11. Part of my job involves investigating conduct and discipline issues and to be honest I do think the decision to dismiss her for that one transgression was harsh. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it was legally wrong and it's all about context. Without meaning any disrespect to your daughter, the fact is that most call centre workers aren't exactly the most valued of employees so the company probably didn't think too hard about letter her go. As others have said, it's worth finding out what the employer's policies are on use of social media, conduct and how they should be investigated. The only way she would be likely to have any form of claim at an Employment Tribunal is if she could prove the policies were misapplied or the decision to sack her was manifestly unreasonable. I work for a large public sector organisation which has very detailed policies and guidance on all aspects of conduct and how to deal with allegations of misconduct. They are by no means soft and people can be dismissed for anything that amounts to what is regarded as gross misconduct. For example, I investigated an individual who had caused a fairly minor fight at a Christmas staff party - he was sacked. Other cases may end up with written warnings. If she did that where I work I would imagine she'd have ended up with a written warning but her employer obviously took a more serious view of it. I suspect she will just end up having to treat this as a hard but valuable life lesson. People are incredibly indiscreet on social media sites and this is one of the unfortunate consequences.
  12. Similar thing happened when we picked up our first 370 - dealer told us there was easily enough fuel to get us home, but the dreaded lines appeared when we were stuck in a jam on the motorway! Eventually made it to a petrol station but very unnerving for a first drive in what was a very unfamiliar car
  13. Can't say I'm a fan of the GT86 but very nice photos. Enjoy your car
  14. Sad news. I'm guessing they must have been going at a fair lick looking at the state the car is in.
  15. I've done it both ways, it dousnt make much difference. I would normally do it sealant then wax, but I wasn't going to use sealant at all, but then got bored. Haha. Yeah I can imagine you could do it either way and still get good results. Car looks good.
  16. Great work. I've always wondered about products for matte finishes. Just as a matter of interest, what products would you recommend for a pearlescent white finish such as on the 370z storm white cars?
  17. Good quality wax on a well prepared surface is defo worth it. And bear in mind the layers will build over time (although a complete removal, clay and polish, and re-wax a couple of times a year is advisable).
  18. Interesting to hear you use the wax and then the sealant. I've always done it the other way around.
  19. You could try giving them a polish by hand with something mild like Autoglym Super Resin polish before using a wax or sealant on them. That might freshen up the shine and bring them closer to the refurbed wheel.
  20. Absolutely right. I think the 'we disregard the rules of the road to stay alive argument' is nonsense.
  21. Much as I'd like to be pc and say something like we're all as bad as one another, the truth is if you work in London you see a disproportionate number of cyclists ignoring the rules of the road or just being plain stupid e.g. riding in the dark with no lights. Yes you see bad drivers but they are outnumbered in relative terms by the bad cyclists.

    Wipers

Agreed. Work very well and look smart.
  23. Even though you have the controller in your hand? I would use it a couple of times but the novelty would wear off pretty quickly, I just don't see it as a selling point, but I can see why some will, I never went for 3D TV either Yes. If you have the controller in your hand and are in one game, you have to press the Xbox button, then move the cursor to the games + apps tile, then click that, then scroll to the game you want, then press the button to load. It doesn't take any longer to do that than it used to on 360 or PS3 (in fact it's quicker as the menu structure is better), but I can be in the middle of a race in Forza then simply say "Xbox go to FIFA14" and it'll load instantly. And I do mean instantly. It shouldn't be a massive selling point, however it's critical to the overall experience. I can see why you're not so keen, I'm anti-3D as well so I know where you're coming from on things that add nothing to the overall experience, but this genuinely does. It's hard to overstate just how integrated this is, and while it does feel dumb as hell at first talking to your Xbox, give it a day and then it becomes natural and you stop speaking in a fake accent and speaking normally at normal volume. I didn't say it wasn't an important game, nor a pretty one, but it was absolutely dire to play. All the other games mentioned still remain classics and are great to play to this day, RR on the other hand is simply poor. But it wasn't dire to play it was fantastic you were probably playing Grand Prix on your PC with Voodoo graphics card and getting a lazy lob over how realistic the handling was Sent from the golf club... Exactly. It was a very playable fun game and the audio visuals added to the experience. If you learnt how to play it well it was a blast
