Agreed this weather is terrible. I'd also class myself as a confident driver but there have been a couple of moments recently where I've been shitting myself! It's not what you do, it's what others do (or don't!!) - I have seen some crazy things on the roads the last week or two. People just don't seem to look. Needless to say I'll be sticking to the 350Z and keeping the bike tucked up in the garage unless we get a particularly nice day.

In that case, I'd fit the springs now and fit arbs and drop links as and when you get them. Springs need a few weeks to settle anyway before alignment.

Doesn't matter what order you fit them all in but they're all linked so you may as well fit them all at once if you have them all

I never understand why people hate MOTs.. If anyone is worried about an MOT, doesn't that mean they're not ensuring their car is in good mechanical order all year round?

No offensce but I don't think anyone compared 452's to mpss? The 452 is a great budget tyre yes but it's not a great tyre overall IMO Daryl didn't compare Falken and MPSS on a like for like basis. He clearly stated that the MPSS is afar superior tyre. Also since when we're Falken budget? They're mid-range, in both price and performance Sorry your right they are mid range for some people. But they are the bare minimum I'd put on a performance car personally. Also he said they where regarded as the best tyre on here which isn't true. Not fighting but it's the truth. Fair points

If you decide you want standard cats, I have a set off my UK Zed. One of the studs snapped but it could easily be drilled out and replaced with a bolt they'll be a lot cheaper than berks

Can't believe these still haven't sold! I'd have been all over them if I found the right azure Zed when I was looking a few months ago!! Don't think they'd look right against my kuro black though...

Is it likely I'll need bushes as well or may I get away with just bolts? Don't like to spend money if it's not necessary obviously, but I will buy what I need.

He had some sort of funky heat thing which he said does something magnetic. Not sure exactly what it was! I may try it with a blow torch. He did hard a long breaker bar on it though!

Hopefully I'll only need to replace the bolts! I will have a look first, then decide whether to order just bolts or bushes too. I'll be in touch!

I went to the wheel alignment centre in Southampton. I'd hope he knows what he's doing as they get good reviews. May just buy replacements and try to remove them myself, then if they snap I can just replace them.

Hi guys, I went to have my alignment done today but the mechanic said that the camber and toe bolts on the rear are siezed. What are my options to sort this? I haven't had a look yet but could I just try and undo them, then if they snap, tap them out with a hammer and a socket extension or something? I'm not sure the quickest/easiest/cheapest way... Either way it looks like I'm going to need to order some new bolts! Cheers Sam

It's all personal preference, IMO the drop on Eibach springs is pretty perfect. Sits nicely but not too low.

Don't happen to have the camber bolts as well do you? Where abouts are you? What brand are the poly bushes?
