May be a stupid suggestion, but could I replace the flexi with straight pipe to stop it from snagging again? What negative affects would this give me? Would it affect the sound?

Yeah I'll get a couple of mates so there are 3 of us. Do I need to remove the side trims to get the roof lining down a bit or should it come without?

Just as I thought, cheers. And all the boot trims just pop off inc. roof lining? And do I have to remove the top of the seat belts?

Hi guys, I had a search around but couldn't find this.. I have bought a replacement boot lid as mine is in poor condition but not 100% sure how to fit it. I'm sure I could work it out with a bit of common sense but wondered if there is any particular info / tips that'd help me out Guess I have to drop the roof lining then its just a couple of bolts/plugs? Mine is also peeling slightly although I didn't notice it for the first couple of weeks of owning the car so it's not that bad. 1 I was thinking of carbon wrap (although think I'd want to remove them as the finish would be better), but the lettering would then be removed..

Hi guys, Fitted my decats last night to my exhaust blowing through one of the flexi's just behind it. The car has been fitted with a Jasma exhaust by the previous owner so I'm not sure if they're standard or not! Is there a quick temporary fix? Pros/cons of welding a straight pipe in place of the flexi so it won't happen again?

Does anyone have any pictures of 40 profiles? I have the standard Rays and have fitted Eibach springs and wondering how it'd look with 235/40/18 fronts and 245/40/18 rears. The front 225/45's look ok but I feel the rear 245/45's are a tad balloony.

I fitted Eibach springs to my Zed a couple of nights ago on my own in about 2-3 hours. The rears took less than 10 minutes each! As said it depends what tools you have and the condition of the bolts. Also depends on your experience I guess. I'll be waiting a few weeks for them to bed in properly before getting alignment done, personally.

Got some springs on their way. Still looking for the spacers. Someone told me the going rate for spacers is about £75/pair second hand.. Is this right??? They're less than that brand new in eBay.

My Zed looks pretty standard at the moment (only got it last week). I live in Chandler's Ford and work in Winchester but drive to Southampton sometimes, I'd wave! I have a black 53 plate GT, soon to be on a private plate ending NUG.

I understand that spacers are effectively increasing the axle length but I don't see how this should affect the geo personally?
