  1. Good to see there's a fair bit of interest, will get onto Clark and see if we can get a price
  2. I've seen a string of pretty funny Tesco mobile tweets but this just takes the cake/biscuit
  3. just noticed them, dropped this blackberry 1 to many times I think! Hehe, seems ironic that as it breaks it gets purple spots on it
  4. Have a look here, this might help http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56481-kenwood-ddx-4028bt-rear-cam-install-%E2%80%93-superguide/
  5. Not enough to pick up the Jag? Also I was thinking about this. Are you ever actually lifting the full weight of the car when jacking? Surely some of the weight it transferred to the inside/outside/front/back depending on where you lift from.
  6. Also 350th post above ^^^^^ go me
  7. Looks like a pretty good job for £6. Also what's up with your camera, there's some odd black patches/purple marks in the same place on all the photos
  8. Group buy thread is up guys http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78107-arcan-18-tonne-low-entry-lightweight-trolley-jacks/#entry1160598 Get your names down to help out Ewen with numbers Thanks Chris
  9. Love it. This guys humour is spot on. Went on to read his review of the GT86. Possibly my favourite quote about the car
  10. Posted in group buy, just waiting for approval.
  11. *** UPDATE *** Been in touch with Ewen about the jacks and unfortunately Costco cant do any better on the listed price. Sorry guys. If anyone is still interested in these Ewen has kindly offered to purchase and ship for the website price + delivery of £12 (next day FedEx). Please drop Clark Motorsport a PM before Monday 5PM so they can all be purchased at the same time if you wish to order. A few of us have been discussing trolley jacks over in this thread http://www.350z-uk.c...-trolley-jacks/ when it was suggested to set up a group buy. Clark Motorsport have very kindly offered to investigate if a group buy is possible based on interest. The jack in questions is an Arcan 1.8 Tonne, low entry, lightweight (aluminium) trolley jack. Details: This heavy duty Arcan aluminium service Jack features side mounted handles, making it easier to position the Jack. With a quick lift design and 5 pumps, this Jack has a capacity of 1,814kg. The wide track wheels and casters provide easy mobility and the rubber sadle pad and foam bumper pad protects the vehicle from getting damaged. Specification Dual return springs Capacity: 1.8 Ton Material: Aluminium Min height: 8.9cm Max height: 49.8cm Weight: 24kg Dimensions: H 81 x W 36 x D 19 cm - See more at: http://www.costco.co...h.rjEOUIwJ.dpuf This jack has received a lot of positive reviews too which can be found here: http://reviews.north...ews/reviews.htm If anyone is interested, pop your name down and ill update the thread with prices and any other info if a group buy is on the cards Longsh07 NeilMH 350Ad (If under £100) flexib (Price depending) HaydnH Gtech (Subject to pricing) SamN x2 (Subject to pricing) Harryjax (Subject to pricing)
  12. Ill get on that to give us an idea of interest
  13. Just for reference - this the one? http://www.costco.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/cos_8,cos_8.5,cos_8.6.1/107255
  14. Wouldn't know where to ask to be honest. Any tool traders on here?
  15. Wow. how did that not get picked up before they produced it
  16. Oh yes, I've been following your LS350Z thread. Will have a look
  17. Good to know. Was leaning towards that one as there's a machine mart not far from me
  18. I also have a million blocks of wood of all shapes/sizes which get used for propping up various bits of car never thought to park on them!! The ramps are good temporary solution actually while I decide on what to get. At the moment the 350 I just have to move around the drive until I find a dip that lets me get the jack under and the 106 I have to jack the rear then the front which is annoying if everything you want to get at is at the front
  19. Cheers guys - Will fork out the extra for an Aluminium one then and maybe ask nicely for some shiny new axle stands for Christmas I expect I will be told by this missus this is a boring present but what does she know.
  20. Im looking into getting myself a proper trolley jack since the Halfords jobby that I keep borrowing off my Dad is now too tall to fit under both my 106 and my 350 Happy to spend decent money on one as I know it will get a lot of use but wasn't sure if it was worth going with a light weight aluminium one or a regular (steel?) one. Lightweight would be easier for me as I don't have a garage to work on the car in so it cant just be wheeled over to the car (will be stored in the shed and dragged/carry it across my gravel drive). On the other hand I've read people don't rate the aluminium ones because of their strength? I always use axle stands when I work on my car so the Jack is never the only thing taking the full weight so does that really matter? These are the ones I've been looking at at the moment Aluminium Jack 1.8 Tonne http://www.sealey.co...uiredresults=16 2.5 Tonne http://www.sealey.co...uiredresults=16 2 Tonne http://www.clarkeint...nsmission-jacks Steel Jacks 2.5 Tonne http://www.sealey.co...uiredresults=16 2 Tonne http://www.clarkeint...nsmission-jacks Any opinions/advice greatly received.
  21. Not the best but here's my attempt at option 1 which I prefer on your car personally. Ignore the white lines, I was being lazy with the editing
  22. I'll spend anything from a couple of hours for just a wash and spay detailer to 6-8 hours for a wash, polish, clay bar, wax, wheel sealer, tyre dressing and cleaning the inside so I think your just as bad as the rest of us
  23. Not keen on that look im afraid, will make the brakes look tiny too. Shove a big brake kit on and you might get away with 20's
