I literally have nothing better to be doing right now (last one)

Had 20/25's on my 350 before fitting my LMGT4 alloys. There was a slight difference in handling however I thought it felt more planted with the slightly wider stance. As Will said, give them a fair test then make up your own mind. Its personal preference at the end of the day

By no means a photoshop expert of anything but thought I'd have a go.

Good luck - Hope its sorted

Fingers crossed it's just the replacement system settling in then. Might be worth taking it to a specialist if it comes back on as from what I read online it could be linked to an exhaust leak which could quite easily happen if cheap gaskets were used to fit the system.

Thanks a lot mate for the help, I dont use this forum cuz its got some real opinionated t***s Will take a look tonight and see if I can fit it, thanks mate I think it's different on UK cars, the UK ones have a screw in rear tow eye in the bumper. I know that mine has a hook sized slot under there, but it doesn't look all that meaty. Regardless of the strength of the hook itself, is it possible this thing under the car is just a tie down and not intended for towing? Only mention it because like Matt's, mine has a little cover in the bumper that pops out to screw a hook into. Also my MX5 has these little metal hooks front and back but the manual specifically states they are not for towing. That said, doesn't stop anyone fitting tow hooks to them. Not my photos (thanks google + their respective owners)

Is your car standard or do you have any intake/exhaust mods? Only reason I ask is apparently P0420 is "catalytic efficiency below threshold bank 1" and so at a guess could be linked with running de-cats/HFCs. To answer your questions: I don't know about dealers but with an UpRev remap, some of the codes can be turned off. In this case though, if your car is not modified you'd be better off trying to fix the problem causing the CEL. Some codes cause the check engine light to come on right away and stay on. Others have to go to a pending state before they actually display the CEL on the dashboard. Chances are this P0420 is showing as pending on your code reader but has yet to reach the threshold where it will then come on on the dash.

Not had my Berk HFC's on long enough for MOT time to roll around but I've heard good things about Cobra HFCs. Berks apparently need a bit of warming up but otherwise should pass fine

Would love to see a forged build Maybe shove some of these ITB's on it too

Never again asking Nissan for anything ever again unless I'm desperate. Was quoted something like £3200 for a clutch and flywheel change. I had one supplied and fitted for about a third of the price.

To my knowledge RevUp and HR 350's are the only ones that can hold more than one map

Welcome to the forum. Heard good things about the Mishimoto fan shroud so that would be my choice in your situation. Worth noting that when I had a trip to Abbey motorsport recently Mark mentioned that despite the water temp gauge showing just under half, it was actually 105 °C. Nothing wrong with the gauge, its just "a typical Nissan gauge" and bit crap apparently I believe the words Mark used were "if it get to the red line its f***ing hot!"

Got a pair of unused black FRP plastic mad look eyelids/eyebrows. Purchased from Steve @ Redline Styling last November but decided against fitting them. After £35 posted.

Good to know, cheers Darren

Same topic came up recently. Was recommended HKS Super Hybrid by Abbey Motorsports which I've had in mine for some time now

Pressure regulator is in the pump assembly (in fuel tank) on a stock 350 I mean these things (So these are dampers not regulators?)

I've got gold TPI wheel nuts on mine to try and match the brembos. They are lightweight alloy but as long as you dont let anyone go at them with a rattle gun you shouldn't have any problems. They have got a little scratched around the edges though but not noticeable when they are on the car. http://www.taperpro....k/2012/nuts.htm

Most likely the pressure regulators but would be wise to check your belts for any frays or splits. Had a very similar noise to this and turned out to be one of my belts (A/C belt) had started to split down one of the grooves. Was a brand new gates belt too!

This makes me feel a lot better about my 261 If you look at the "dyno results thread" everyone is super unhappy with their stock or tuned results because Nissan told big fat lies. Yeah I had seen that. Already set myself up for numbers lower than expected (if Nissan were to be believed). Still, its not about numbers at the end of the day. Love my car to bits and the modifications were totally worth it in my book (even if just for the noise )

Had a chat with Mark at Abbey about this and he basically said the same thing as Wasso. The MREV2 is simply a modified DE lower plenum and the high cost is because they start with a brand new DE lower plenum. Combined with a spacer you'll see some nice gains. If it helps, my car is a 2005 GT4 (RevUp DE) and has been regularly serviced. Its also got the following intake/exhaust mods. Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer Berk HFC's Milltek Y pipe, centre pipe and back box. HKS Super Hybrid panel filter. The RevUp engines airbox is also slightly modified from the DE airbox in that it has a velocity stack installed which helps funnel the air more cleanly into the intake pipe (after filter) After the RevUp she is producing 261 Hp at the hubs which equates to roughly 296 Hp at the flywheel. My car was supposed to have 296 Hp at the flywheel from the factory however time/wear will cause Hp to drop so its not bad for a nearly 10 year old car. Based on dyno sheets I've seen for stock RevUp 350's I've gained roughly 20Hp after ALL the above mods so I wouldn't expect the plenum spacer to give you a massive boost on its own (and I doubt you'll get any gain without a remap) In all honestly the only way you are going to see any noticeable Hp gains is by going forced induction (supercharger or turbo). That said, to keep the engine running sweet I'd suggest getting the UpRev tune done once you've finished making your changes. There's not huge difference in power but extra midrange torque and better throttle response are a plus for me.

I strung the photos together with GoPros free editing software. I've used Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier Elements and the GoPro one is surprisingly good!

Oh and I would just like to add that Zed's are less common than Ferraris based on my trip today! Saw about 10 Ferraris and only one other Zed!
