  1. I do still have it. I paid £30+delivery for it so I'm loosing out as it is. I am in no rush to sell it so it's £30 or nothing I'm afraid.
  2. ^^^ This. The Rays name on my LMGT4's is slightly less pronounced than it was originally and I know Octet had them recoloured/refurbished before I got them

    Brake Pads

I've been looking at the Hawk ceramic pads which I've heard good things about. Think ill probably be going with these for my daily driven zed.
  4. Interested to see how this progresses as I've had a set of LED reflectors installed on my Zed for around about a year now and the LED's have started to fail for what ever reason.

Thanks chaps. I got asked to drive the girlfriends brother to his wedding (only got asked three days before the date I might add ) so had to have an afternoon off work to get her looking fresh for the wedding. Was worth it as they asked to have some photos with her, not got any (yet) without the watermark though.
  7. Im just passing on what Mark at Abbey told me when I asked about it. When I cleaned mine I was stuck in my works car park with a car that would stall repeatedly, limited tools and light going down fast. I left it all attached to the car but just disconnected the battery then pulled off the intake tube. Cleaned one side of the plate then opened the throttle by hand and cleaned around the edges of the plate/body. Put it back together and no problems since.
  8. If you removed it from the car then you would have disconnected the sensors correct? If that's the case then your fine as Mark said you only need to remove either the battery, ECU or sensors to prevent damage.
  9. New HKS Super Hybrid filter for DE/Revup engine with single intake. Purchased as I didn't realise they were lifetime filters so was going to chuck my current one away! £30 posted
  10. Could be a small leak in the exhaust, I'd think that's most likely if its coming from under the car. At a guess, I'd say it could be a leak in the flexible joints in the Y-Pipe. If it is the exhaust then the other option will be between the pipe joins. You'd need to get it up in the air to know for sure but that would be my guess.
  11. I asked Mark at Abbey Motorsport about all this business with the throttle. From what I remember, the throttle position is monitored by the ECU at all times (even when the car is off). It has two permanent lives and earths. Because of this moving the valve upsets the sensor and actually burns out the ECU. If this happens you'll have to have the ECU repaired as resetting position will make no difference. With that said, to avoid this disconnect either the battery (what I did when cleaning mine), the throttle sensors, or the ECU. Once that's done your all good to clean it
  12. lol, I though that would be the case. I'd never heard of what ever the copper called it and didn't think to ask at the time. Never mind, was always going to be a bit of a long shot (no pun intended) so thanks for trying to help anyway all.
  13. It's to do with the ECU's not the car. Oh yeah I get that, otherwise where would it store the map(s)
  14. Didn't realise it was UK specific!
  15. Had this happen on my Punto when I first started driving. A couple of days earlier I had put a steel dog tag on my keys as a key ring. While driving to work it must have moved it such a way that it upset the car and caused the immobiliser to kick in! Took it off, never had the problem again. If it happens again look at the LED on the dash just in front of the windscreen. It should be off while driving and flashing while the car is off. If it's solid red then could be either something triggering the immobiliser or a problem with it. Hope this helps
  16. I don't think so GM, had something similar to the post directly above yours that looked like an intercom/Bluetooth kit. I'm sure it was the same shape as the drift had camera but it could have been slightly thinner. Sure it had a small screen on the side too... Could it be anything else? Starting to have my doubts. Thanks for the help all
  17. Also for the record I'm pretty sure it wasn't an intercom or bluetooth as there was also something like this on the other side.
  18. Sorry chaps, for some reason I didnt get notified about your replies Looked very similar to this except according to the coppers it wasn't a camera...
  19. Big thank you to CS for sorting me out with this awesome purple Rota Grid-V's for my MX5 Great price, super fast delivery and top notch customer service. Couldn't ask for more. Just need to cobble together some pennies for a set of coilovers
  20. Yeah does need lowering quite badly Not going to bother now until next year though, got other expenses and really want to get on track before the end of the year. Yeah I think I will be keeping the purple theme. I'd looked at these front/rear tow hooks from Jass Performance. They are more for show as the metal loops they attach to are not designed for towing but better than nothing if I fall off the track. Though about spraying them purple to match. Also my interior has some red panels on the seats and door cars. Undecided if I should get them recovered in black and purple (leather or alcantara) or just swap the seats out for some Cobra Daytona seats. I know a bloke who knows the owner of Cobra so I could ways have a word about getting some black/purple Daytona's What do you reckon?
  21. Update 13/09/14 Just got back from the tyre fitters Huge thanks to CS for all their help getting hold of these awesome wheels. So coil overs next then yeah?
  22. Four screens?! I'm only allowed two... Also... I finish at 4, dont judge me.
  23. None - I'll be sticking with my iPhone 5. It does what I need and more importantly it works with my AppRadio2! Much more important to me.
