  1. Got mine fitted today with help from the man himself! Thank you once again. This mod is a must have for some good sound quality and ease of connection. IF anyone is thinking about doing it go ahead and get one. So much better than the standard FM transmitter which I was using before. The installation guide is very well explained too. Thanks CS2000
  2. Has anyone been able to connect an iPhone X to the car audio?
  3. Guys, So I did this at a local mechanic. The sensor straight away was working well until I filled up again. The sensor now is not moving at all with a full tank :S. I also noticed that when I filled the tank there was a small leak. Could it be that there is a leak with the O rings and this is effecting the pressure inside the tank and therefore the fuel sensor? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks edwmas
  4. Nice day trip to sly at Kaizermotor for my P3 service. Great service and great guy. Very helpful. Would recommend to anyone around east London/Essex area. Thanks once again sly.
  5. Guys, If anyone is pondering on whether they should give it a go, I would highly recommend they would. I am by no means a mechanic or a technical person. I have never dismantled a car door let alone a 350Z one. Just follow the guide step by step to the finest detail in order to avoid any mishaps and in 3 hours you will have a functioning window without spending any money. I have a 2008 and the passenger window was the problem. To remove the door card I found a short guide from the following site http://my350z.com/forum/audio-video-and-electronics-diy/407151-2008-door-panel-removal-front-speaker-install.html Then used Steve's guide to do the rest. I should thank Steve himself for the 'online' help he provided while I was doing the job. Window is functioning well and hope it will for a long time. I am happy to help if anyone has any questions as I am sure all the others would.
  6. I can not seem to download the PDF! Any particular reason why
  7. Hi, I am looking for a nissan specialist/garage in order to start service my Z and maybe sort out a braking issue I have. Anyone knows about any in the area
  8. Excuse my explanation! The car is left in the garage with the handbrake NOT on and the brakes stuck on by themselves. I always keep the car in gear rather than put the handbrake on. That is my question on why the brakes are still locking even if the handbrake is not on. Could it be a caliper problem? Could it be they did something wrong during the service?? I will be making an official complaint. Do you know who I need to put the complaint to? Is it Nissan customer service? I live in Lancaster. So any decent nissan specialist garage round the north west would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Any advice on how to avoid them from locking again when it is parked?? Thanks
  10. Hi, Need some advice about a braking problem I have. I'v had my 350z for a year and a half and had no problems. In November I took it for a service to chorley Nissan garage. About 4 months after I left the car for about 5 weeks in my garage with the handbrake down. When I went to drive it the brakes were locked!! Bit of more power and brakes unlocked with a not so friendly noise. But it drove well. This happened a few times and then I started noticing that my rear passenger wheel was making a noise on braking. Took it for a diagnostic test at same garage and they changed my rear disc brakes and pads as they said they were worn out - 700 pounds for that!! 2 weeks later it is happening again - used the car everyday but still getting locked brakes after a night in garage. Any idea of what it could be? Should I ask the garage to have a look at it again? Do I have a basis to argue that the diagnostic test and repair was a joke?!! Really do not want to be messed about by these guys!! Thanks Ed
  11. Excellent diagram. I am about to install an ipod connector and wanted to make sure I attach the right power connections to the original harness. Can anyone let me know which wires correspond to the following: !2V wire Ground wire Ignition wire Thanks
  12. Hi I am planning to install a Dension ICE link FM modulator onto my 350Z. I just need to know (preferably a pic) which wires on the system correspond to the following Ground wire Constant +12V (Battery) Switched +12V (ACC) I would be grateful if anyone can help. As you can see I am not a very technical person
  13. Thanks, Any Ideas to get a decent ipod connection on to the bose system
  14. Hi, I am new to this forum. I just bought a Nissan 350Z 2008 and I wanted to install the PA15-NIS USASpec ipod interface. I bought it and after removing the radio, I find that the 12 pin connector is missing and I therefore can't install any interface. Anyone here encountered the same problem? Any bright ideas on a solution Thanks for your help Ed
