It would be great if a member on here printed t-shirts for a living. Would be handy if they lived local to the Moreton too. Oh hang about, there is one....ME Mudman - we did chat briefly about this a few months ago but due to various reasons it ran out of steam but give me a shout if you're interested in this idea. I'm limited to vinyl printing at the moment (I think you were originally wanting embroidered which I am unable to do). S. edit - Sorry if I should have sent this via PM!

What's the craic for different flavours of Zeds joining in? If numbers are still down come May time I can probably muster together a few local 300ZX's As it stands I should be joining in one of the days drives (in my 350z). S.

Not a lot at the moment as I'm buying the ex out of the house and that's not a cheap do! But in previous years I've been able to throw money around like a rapper or a sheik. I'm another one the in self-employed club so finances do fluctuate a lot more than regular employed folk. S.

I was referring to the original, I'll happily admit I don't know much about the original but will certainly check it out. I much prefer older films as they tended to feature much more in depth characters...I kinda get the impression that a lot of modern film makers are so concerned with CGI that they forget to make the characters interesting Amen to that! The world would be a very boring place if we all thought the same S.

Not seen it yet and don't really have any interest in it. I lot of people think it's an almost sacrilegious thing to say since I like cars and stuff but I find F&F, Gone in 60 Seconds, Need for Speed etc the most cringe ridden way to spend a couple of hours imaginable :/ But maybe I'm just a bit miserable when it comes to movies as I find Marvel films awful. Actually worse than awful but I can't think of a suitable term. Diabolically awful perhaps? S.

I saw this on the 'Book a couple of days ago. Didn't realise til I saw the article the extent of the damage! I like those lanes! For country lanes I find them pretty wide tbh, but there are plenty of opportunities for whoopsies round there if you're pushing it and don't know the roads. Since all the buggering about with the Posthouse roundabout I've started to use that run from Waverton-Wrexham frequently. S.

Saw a nice blue zed on a 52 import plate yesterday on the A5 near Oswestry. Bit early for the May meet but 10/10 for enthusiasm very nice looking car sadly I was just a passenger in a non Zed car so no waves from me. S.

spot of the year - zed on Trailer Park Boys 'Swearnet' movie
Squee replied to Squee's topic in Spotted or Flyered
It's a Canadian comedy series Ekona and quite a cult classic over here too now. 'Mockumentary' about some trailer park dewlling no-er-do-wellers and their get rich quick schemes. The Swearnet movie is about how the creators of the show start their own network so they can broadcast what they like. To be honest the film wasn't outstanding....if you're a fan of the Trailer Park Boys already then it's certainly worth a watch but I don't think it's going to win too many Oscars The actual show Trailer Park Boys is very funny if you like that sort of thing (although series one is a bit hit and miss so if anyone is reading this as fancies giving it a watch I'd suggest jumping in at series 2). I used the forecourt of a Wrexham handwash (nr Pandy/Gresford) to turn round in on Wednesday afternoon but I can assure you no one came near me with their grubby sponges S.

This might be a bit controversial given the Clarkson topic being on lockdown but here's a snap of my Nismo wading into the Clarkson debate. No matter what your take on the situation I'm sure you'll all agree that a steak always beats a cold platter of Pal hands/paws down! S.

Maybe try Judge Rinder. He seems like a helpful chap S.

I've not watched the advert itself yet but my facebook newsfeed is awash with people either saying it's the bestest advert ever or it's sickening that Sainsbury's are cashing in on war. Needless to say the latter are not Daily Mail readers! S.

Since it's only you boys commenting on this thread I thought I'd offer an opinion from the fairer sex..... I can't stand weddings either and DREAD the thought of one of my own :/ got no problem with the idea of marriage, it's just the 'big day' itself that leaves me cold. And I'm of a more extrovert nature too. There's a lot to be said for a Vegas wedding! Seriously though I hope you guys sort it and end up having a lovely day As someone else on here has said it's not too late to cancel and re-arrange so bear that in mind if it's all getting too much for you. I did my first track day there and thought it was fantastic. I've done a couple there now, both with MSV, the best one being a specific novice friendly track day as it was quite chilled out with no show offs. Some people say it's best to avoid novice days as they think it will be chaos with a load of bumbling beginners going round wacky races style and not paying attention to flags and stuff but I didn't experience that. What organiser and when are you looking at doing it? I believe that now it's off season there's some very well priced days there at the mo. As mentioned I've only done them at Oulton with MSV but I believe that a lot of how good the day is can be down to the organiser. I've been extremely lucky weather wise with my track days and had beautiful sunny days. The idea of doing one on a wet and dark day in December in my zed doesn't appeal so much as I know I'd be granny driving and scared to push it. But I think I've been spoiled due such great conditions on previous days. Oulton is a quick drying track however. Hope you have a great time S.

Super cool custom made T-shirt ready for any shows & meets...
Squee replied to GMballistic's topic in Off Topic Discussion
If anyone wants t-shirts printing then give me a holla as it's my line of work S. -
Squee was a character from a comic me and some pals to read back in t'day called 'Johnny The Homicidal Maniac' who was small and innocent looking and whenever he got scared used to say 'squee' and for some reason I ended up with the name as I'm small and innocent looking apparently! The character was male tho and I'm not lol. A lot of people think it's a naughty innuendo but sadly it's ain't. It was what my ex used to call me however and I have thought about changing the user name due to that association but it's been my handle on a lot of websites and can't be bothered changing it tbh. But if anyone has any creative offerings on a good new name choice then fire away (I have instant regret asking that haha). Like Wendy said on this thread it's ruddy complicated sometimes these user names especially if you use the 350z-UK Facebook page as you don't know who's who! S. (I always sign off as 'S' as it's also the initial of my 'real life' first name)

pics for proof else we'll all just think you had 6 chicken nuggets off the kids menu S.

I had a 2 hour beginners lesson at Tamworth Snowdome a couple of months ago and loved it although my attention span dropped off towards the end which made me mess up a few times. And the lessons I had booked were 9pm-11pm on a Sunday night which wasn't conductive to my (woeful) attention! At the end of the 2 hours I could (just about) go down the slope in a falling leaf pattern (so gently boarding from left to right, right to left etc). A lot of time is spent faffing about learning to get the kit on but it's necessary to learn that stuff so no complaints about that. One main benefit of going late on a Sunday night was that the Snowdome was quiet...I can imagine it would be a bit stressy being a beginner and it being busy. I would certainly agree with the others on here who say don't rush into buying the gear! A proper set up can be mega bucks and the kit provided at the Snowdome was more than adequate for novices. I'm hoping to get some more lessons in again soon but might try the ChillFactore in Manchester next...I'm going to Austria for a boarding holiday in February so better get some good practice in Oh and there's no shame in falling on your arse a lot Have fun S.

You, sir, have impeccable taste I saw a post you made a while back on a similar thread and meant to give another +1 for 1990s east coast hip hop. I'm not a hater on the west coast either and had the pleasure of meeting DJ Jazzy Jeff last Sunday S.

Hi guys n gals, I thought I'd spread the news that there's a charity rolling road dyno day taking place this Sunday (19th Oct) in Warrington at Tuning Developments Ltd, £40 for 3 runs and there will also be other interesting stuff on display such as a hydro dipping company. A percent of the proceeds are going to Manchester Dogs Home which some of you may remember was burnt down by some twisted little t*rd a few weeks ago. And since I'm a sopp for furry friends I thought this a worthy enough cause to share on this site! There's a few 300zx's going to be there so you can go and meet your zed cousins Link for more info if anyone's interested: https://www.facebook...57831741051392/ Hope this might be of interest to North West zedders and apologies if this is a S.

Be very careful with adverts and Gumtree...I responded to an advert for a 300ZX back in 2012 and that was fraught with trouble (members from 2012 might recall my posts about the car being impounded etc). It turned out to be a great Zed until I crashed it and wrote it off in February but the saga still continues as the previous owner and I have recently become an item....so use Gumtree at your peril haha! Might you have been wearing something that set the kid off? I was on a bus once (in Spain, wouldn't do public transport here) and a downs kid made a bee-line for me in an aggressive way as I had a had a graphic print of a cat on my t-shirt and the kid had a thing for cats. At least I think that's how the kid's guardians explained it as their English was bad but my Spanish even worse Either way no harm was done and it was obviously challenging for the parents looking after the kid and I can't imagine the kid having a great time...I felt bad for the family really and made me grateful that I don't have those kinds of challenges in life. But it's a hard card to call in your case TwoBears...on the one hand you want to be sympathetic but on the other it does sound like that child might cause chaos once he gets into adolescence. If I was Mystic Meg I might envisage him getting tickled by a police taser in the next few years :/ S.

Share the steak with your lovely wife. It will be romantic and you can also share the meat sweats together Happy anniversary by the way S.

I live quite near a high school and I've noticed the guy who lives right next to the school has installed one of those high pitched transmitter things that's meant to stop teenagers loitering. Fair enough but no kids ever congregate there after school hours....I can't decide if I think it's pretty funny or if the guy is a massive tool. But I'm pretty chuffed I can hear the high pitched sounds so I guess that means I'm not yet over the hill just yet! S.
