  1. A rabbit in a hat with a bat. And a '64 Impala.
  2. DC03*** Spotted today at about 4.15pm. Parked sensibly away from the Tesco end S.
  3. "silly clutch stunts" lol! S.
  4. £230 for your cats treatments?!?!? that's crazy - is that a typical price for the location you live? the same stuff at my vets here in Chester would have been about half of the cost and that's one of the more expensive (and highly regarded) vets in the area! S.
  5. ...thus proving that the chimps at Knowsley Safari Park are brighter than the 'orrible little scrotes Steve350 - no worries dude! but yes I'm definitely female lol! Seems to be quite a few of us on this site. Hopefully my big bag of dust caps will be here in a couple of days - might approach groups of youths and offer the bag round like it's a bag of sweets teehee. S.
  6. Haha thanks Ebized yeah I reckon he was probably a little bit jealous...I must admit I feel so smug when I see my Zed next to one without the Nismo kit. Ricey you're damn right - Chester is full of misery guts. And stuck up arseholes! For a 'northern' city the locals are quite unfriendly I find. But I did get a wave from a silver Zed in Boughton the other day. The driver lives opposite what used to be the Peacock pub and seemed happy to give a Greeny - yeah there are stacks of Zeds around the area at the moment. I guess however the amount of 350z's in the UK must be on the decline as they're not in production anymore and there'll be a few written off/SORN/etc each year. I was enquiring on this site recently how many Zeds were left and someone pointed me in the direction of the (very interesting) site http://howmanyleft.co.uk which shows there's about 7400 left. S.
  7. Hahaha, thanks all. The red mist has cleared a little now teehee. Was already in a bad mood today as the cat had wee'd in my office! Loving the idea of the chili oil Vik - must remember about it though when I come to check the tyre pressure. Don't think it'll mix well when I come to take out my contact lenses Neil - I thought about leaving them off but apparently quite a lot of air does escape when you don't have them fitted and naughty naughty you for being a thief! I know it's the hardly the worst crime to have happen to you but I take these things personally! I reckon that the young scroats probably targeted me when they saw me park up as I'm only a small 5'2" female so they probs thought I was an easy target But anyway, I've just bought 50 on eBay for £2 delivered so that should last me a couple of months S.
  8. what is it with me having my valve caps nicked? I'm getting sick of it now and a Squee in a rage is not a pretty sight! Are the anti-theft ones any good? As people are clearly so excited at seeing my Zed and want to take home a little souvenir I'd worry if they couldn't get the caps off they might try thieving the aerial instead (or worse key the car if they get annoyed). So perhaps it's best to buy a 50 pack of black dust caps and let them get on with it?... S.
  9. Spotted at the traffic lights in Vicars Cross this evening at about 5.20pm, reg plate NT06 ***. Lovely looking car but occupant seemed to be doing his best to pretend he hadn't seen me despite being almost next to me waiting at the lights! Thankfully a nearby van driver was happy to give me a back as the Zed driver was having none of it.....perhaps he didn't like the Nismo kit S.
  10. I thought it was very canny and good PR for the gypos in ensuring that none of their menfolk were filmed. They know full well that showing distressed women and kids paints them out to be victims far more than if they showed the blokes angrily waving their tarmac rakes about. S.
  11. Cheers fellas I wonder why my chum singled out the Buddy's particularly as regards to the discolouration? Hmmmm? He said he thought I'd be better with Japspeed and I think I stopped listening at that point S.
  12. Hi, I'm flirting with the idea of getting something a bit LOUDER and shinier for my Zed and have been looking at Buddy Club. However, I was chatting to a chum earlier today and he seems to think that they're prone to discolouration more than others. Has anyone else noticed this? wouldn't all stainless steel exhausts have the same issues? Thanks S.
  13. Squee

    Finally!

Nice pics from a scummer! S.
  14. Thanks for your replies I guess it's best to wait now 'til spring as I reckon we'll be seeing a lot of grit lorries this year Although I love my Zed as it is I must be spending too much time on this forum and want to start tinkering with it but ideally I wanted to get it more or less 'stock perfect' (on the stuff I intend keeping) before modding hence wanted the bonnet to be my first job. Saying that though I was going to wait until I've bought and had spacers fitted for a while before getting the Rays refurbed incase I find myself clipping the kerbs with the fatter stance... Re. the baking of paints etc - the resprayer I'm intending on using is a 'friend of a friend' so I'll ask my chum next time I see him what sort of technology the bodyshop uses and will report back. The bodyshop does a lot of bike work - don't know if that makes any difference? S.
  15. Saw a lovely Azure at about 3pm today nr Oulton Park in Cheshire. Many thanks for the wave! I am aware that I'm probably posting far too many 'spotteds' but it's still a novelty to me seeing another Zed and I'm clearly a 350z magnet Perhaps I should have a weekly 'Squee's spotted' thread?!? S.
  16. Yeah Hoole but not the roundabout known as 'Hoole roundabout' - the one that connects that one to the M53 / A55 / A56. I think the area's technically known as 'Hoole village' but no one ever calls it that! The other black Zed was coming off the M53 slip and I presume heading towards Chester city centre. Is the Royal Oak the same as the Tobey Carvery? I'm guessing so as it is on the A56 . S.
  17. Decisions, decisions! I've been wanting to get my bonnet resprayed ever since I bought my Zed back in July as it's letting the side down a bit (slight dent but hardly visable but a fair few chips and scratches). From reading on this forum it is recommended to leave the car with the respray people for a full week so that the paint can have a good chance to dry but obviously it's a pain in the arse having to go without your car for a week (not to mention that I'd be pining terribly). Anyway, the folks are off for a bit of winter sun soon and it would be a convenient time for me to be without the Zed for a week as I'd be able to use one of their cars. However, I'm in two minds as to whether to wait 'til the spring as it'll be the first winter for me and my Zed and I'm a little concerned what state it'll be in come spring after a winter's worth of grit and the other challenges of winter driving! The Zed is my only car thus I don't have the 'luxury' of using a shed over winter although Mr Squee's got a car that I can obviously use when he's not in it. So what to do? Get the bonnet done now whilst I have the convenience of another car or wait 'til spring? What would you do?!? Thanks! S.
  18. Got my first acknowledgement from a fellow zed driver today and they happened to be in a Nismo'd black one just like mine! Was on the roundabout near the Tobery Carvery in Chester at about 12.15pm today. Was going too fast and too busy waving to note the reg plate And whilst Zed's should never be compared to buses I got my second ever Zed wave today too from the guy with the import in Boughton I think this is the most exciting Friday I've had in years! S.
  19. how old is she? If shes around my age (29) and went to Upton High she'd might know me. Never lived in Upton but always had all my mates in that area Ooooh, you're an oldie like me Ricey - I'm 28! I've got a lot of mates in the Upton area although they're mainly a couple of years younger than me. I went to Christleton High although couldn't stand the place and f*cked off to art college at 15 S.
  20. Well I've not spotted this one in Chester before - perhaps it's a new member to the Chester Zed massive?! Saw a blue Azure coupe (DG05 ***) parked outside the NatWest in Boughton this afternoon - passed it a couple of times whilst I was running errands. Parked for quite in a while in an 'hour only' spot - hope they didn't pick up one of those nasty black and yellow things on their windscreen! That's the third Azure coupe spotted in Chester in recent weeks - there's also one with a 'V6' plate I see quite often in Waverton/Christleton/Boughton and a 'W6' plate seen on Sealand Rd and Deeside (definitely not same car). Still not seen Fodder's Azure roadster! S.
  21. Cheers I knew it would have been covered on here somewhere but wasn't having much luck with the search function - I did try honest! I've never heard of that howmanyleft site - very interesting! Thanks again, S.
  22. Hi all, Does anyone know how many Zeds were sold in the UK? Am right in thinking that Nissan kept the numbers of them for sale relatively low as to keep them somewhat exclusive? I think I've read recently that 3 RX8s were sold for every one 350Z. Also is there anyway of knowing how many imports knocking about? This question's been bugging me for a while and Mr Squee's keen to know too. Thanks! S PS did try searching on the forums for the answer but had no luck...
  23. Lovely Zed there - I think they look fantastic in white I actually find that my spoiler helps me to park! I'd only driven hatchbacks prior to the Zed and wasn't sure how I'd get on with reversing and judging the size of the boot and I'm finding the spoiler a good visual indicator Practical and stylish S.
