Busy day for Zed spotting today! Silver/poss GM '05' plate driving through Christleton in Chester at 12.00pm...silver '55' plate parked on the side of the A56 in Helsby at 12.30pm and last but not least black '53' import again on the A56 near Helsby at about 2.45pm. All looking good too If you're the driver of any of the above and wondered why and whom someone in a scruffy old dark blue Passat was waving then that would be moi S.

I'm old fashioned and still use CDs. By that I mean I'd like to listen to CDs but the Bose has other ideas I anticipate going deaf very soon anyway as bought the BuddyClub exhaust earlier in the week and have been warned by other members on here that it doesn't do your hearing too much good teehee. Cheers for the replies - sounds like the Hozelock owners are pretty impressed so perhaps I'll give one of them bad boys a go I can't be doing with cack hoses.... the poor old Zed hasn't been bathed sinced September after I had a temper tantrum with a kinky hose (ohh err!) and is really looking pretty grim now! S.

Sorry for the crap post title - can you tell I used to write newspaper headlines hahaha?!? Anyway, I'm after a good quality anti-kink hosepipe as my Zed is so mucky it's a disgrace (I try telling people it's a new kind of vinyl wrap but people don't believe me!) as my stnadrd garden hose has perished over the winter even though it's been really mild. Also I don't have the patience to un-kink it every two minutes when I'm cleaning the car. I've seen Hozelock do a 'flexi pro' range which looks pretty good - any other recommendations? Thanks S.

Does anyone know if the Asda Queensferry has 98 in the petrol station? Mr Squee's been entrusted with Zoomer today and is going to fill him up. He usually buys his diesel from Asda there and I hope he's not going to put 'stripey brand' petrol in if there's no 98! Fodder - we were very lucky and managed to buy in Waverton but had prior been recommended Rosset...didn't get as far as viewing properties but from looking online it looked like a very nice area and good prices. Guess transport might be a bit crap like the other areas you mention but Chester's quite rubbish full stop for public transport I've found. Ricey - Midget man/woman sounds awesome! sounds like it'll be worth a trip to Morrisons just for that! S

Wow - look great. Sorry if it's already been covered but what do you use on the tail pipes and chrome bits? S.

passed you at about 1.00pm today hope the rest of the M6 was nice and clear for you for the rest of your journey. S.

This year I have a Jehovah's Witness advent calender....every time I open a door someone tells me to f**k off.

I think I may have seen this one in Chester in the summer but before they put the vinyl stripes on....the one I saw was a GM import with a massive spoiler and was on either 19"s or 20"s. Were the last three digit of the plate anything that would relate to Saltney Tyes? I seem to recall being told that the Zed in question was the owner's who had a private plate. S.

Haha, thanks all! So perhaps I should be asking Santa for a hearing aid to accomply the Buddyclub? teehe. Cheapest I've found at the moment is £700 on ebay but could get about £15 cashback via Quidco. I've worked out that the seller would have to pay about £40 in ebay final sale fees and approx £25 PayPal fees so reckon I'll contact them and see if they can do it cheaper direct. Will report back for those interested! S

Bit of a long shot but thought I'd ask if anyone's thinking of selling their Buddyclub exhaust before I buy first hand... Thankfully I have a CostCo card and can bulk buy paracetamol so that's the inevitable headaches taken care of! S.

OOoh a new cat Vik - that's great and I bet you're so excited! I was really sorry when I read you lost your old one on this thread recently. Have you decided on which new kitty yet? So hard isn't it with all the little faces mewing at you at the rescue centres. It's crazy that the black ones are rarely picked... some people reckon it's because of the supersition thing and also as they blend into the background at the cat rescue places. Silly people! All of mine are rescue ones apart from one which showed up as a stray. I like to think they're more grateful than the pedigree sorts but think I'm kidding myself! I just wish my black Zed would keep itself nice and shiny like the cats do S.

loving the cats JohnTarantua - not so much the eight legged freak though! Here's my collection of naughty black cats: I'm trying to start my own feline Wu-Tang Clan. S.

Oulton Park in Cheshire have frequent 'introduction to drifting' days for £120 which I think work out at better value (website says "up to 6 hours of drifting"!). I guess some might not fancy using their own vehicles though? http://www.clubmsv.co.uk/car-home/intro ... fting.aspx S.

Pies, lovely lovely pies, pie appreciation thread
Squee replied to Willy P's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I was perusing the pie aisle in Sainsburys earlier (for the record we're having chicken pie tonight) and spotted the following new product which I felt duty bound to report on this thread: Contains cheese AND beans. Were the Pie Minister pies any good? It's definitely the weather for hot pies so if you've got any more recommendations then let me know! Happy pieing. S. -
Teehee, I'll just keep on posting loads of nonsensical twaddle then to get posts up to the magic 350 Do you know if your spoiler was factory fitted? I've read conflicting reports that cars with FF spoilers came with higher pressurised struts. I'm thinking that I might try and remove the original boot weight to see if that allows the boot to lift on first click...will report back!
-
Nice! I do like those stubbies! Still not done my first mod yet but I bought my spacers from Alex last week so will hopefully have them on and up for show soon - gone for 20s on the front and 25s on the back Are you finding you have any problems with the spoiler and your boot? Although my boot stays open it doesn't lift up with one click like it should. I've read about the 'penny trick' on this forum which I may well try and/or get the struts regassed to a higher pressure. S. PS - also how does one get a club sticker?!?

Looking to become a 350z owner....
Squee replied to markizok's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
It's in the £240 region - about £246 I think it was so more like £250 I guess. (I paid in July) Ha! Can't wait to show this to my Exige fanboy snob chum If you really want the Nismo spoiler (well worth it!) then you're probs best waiting to get a car with one already on - there's quite a few posts on this forum from folks wanting to track one down and finding them hard to source. But yes get one! You'll have no regrets S. -
