Just thought I'd better add...I haven't actually tried the carbon wrap from them yet (it's garment vinyl that I get through the company), so I can't comment on the quality of the product but I can vouch for the business as a whole S.

Happy birthday hope you have a good one S.

Thanks...... now planning the next one S.

Aw thanks Caroline! Was really lovely meeting you too, just a shame I couldn't stay long but I'll organise my diary better for next year and make sure I can stay out and play properly! I've had a quick peek at that shopping channel - looks brill! Thanks fella! Will look into them. I've got a feeling this is going to be an expensive summer haha! By the way, that thing should have well arrived in the post by now hahaha, I really am going to be bankrupt by the end of the summer if this carries on I'm well tempted with that one too, I'm definitely going to look into it. I wonder if those EasyTrack ones will be less busy as they aren't promoted as heavily as the MSV ones? I'll have a think if I can make that one and will let you know...so tempted! S.

My vinyl supplier sells sheets with a width of 1525mm if that's any good to you? http://www.mdpsupplies.co.uk/vwcarbonfibre.asp Hope that helps S.

Aw, thanks for the vote of confidence yeah next time I'll make sure that I ditch the instructor for a few laps! Glad your car is all ok You've probably noticed it yourself on Oulton's website, but they do publish a list of all car trackdays not just the ClubMSV ones but they are hidden away as I guess they want to promote their own ClubMSV days: http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/trackdays/car-calendar.aspx Dunno which I'll be going next but unfortunately can't do the 4th July. Pah! S.

Thanks for posting them up smashing pics! Chris, if you decide that you want to buy some pics then let me know as the more you buy the cheaper they get so we could put one order in between us I might buy one of the best car there yesterday - the mint green 1.4 Honda Jazz S.

Well, I survived the track day!....and despite being utter sh!te in the morning absolutely loved it Unfortunately the day started badly due to a balls up (not my fault I might add) which meant that my instructor and I went out on track a few minutes late so I didn't get to have a sighting lap. I was properly terrified when I first got out on track as I joined mid session when the other drivers were getting fully 'stuck in' and really going for it. My driving lines were dreadful and my braking even worse. I've never driven on track before and wasn't use to all the hard braking stuff. I really was a complete pile of crap! But thankfully after the lunch break everything just clicked and by the end of the day I think I was a million times better. I was still one of the slowest on the track but did overtake a couple of cars in the afternoon session. I was concentrating on the track so much I wasn't keeping an eye on the speedo but had a few cheeky glances and was getting over 100mph which apparently is pretty fast for Oulton. And I didn't crash Part of the track driver training day was classroom stuff which meant watching a DVD detailing the circuits' corners which was way above my level as I was still struggling with the basics! Other people on the course who had done track days also found it hard to follow the DVD, particularly as we watched it early on in the morning - it would have been better if it was later on in the day when we knew the layout so could recognise the corners better. There were two instructors per four people on the course for most of the day so we each had 20 min stints then sat 20 mins out which worked out well. The instructors were great, I had a guy called Bill Hewitt who must have had the patience of a saint to get through the day with me. I am definitely going to do another track day, probably novice one next time, and be greedy and buy two or maybe three 20 min instructor sessions. So all in all a successful day despite the bad start - I had tremendous fun and learned a lot! And also got to meet a fellow forum member CrumbMC (hope you got home safely and had a good day despite the few niggles). S. PS - waiting for the official photos to be uploaded so pics will follow

Those tunnel clips are bangin! They're the ones on the A55 aren't they? My geography of Wales is pretty poor considering I live on the border but I definitely want to go and check those tunnels out and hear how much of a din I can make in them Great pics everyone! S.

latest news is that Jose Mourinho has been offered the Liverpool job but turned it down saying "I'm not that f**king special".

WALES 2012 DISCUSS + *OFFICIAL LIST on P1*
Squee replied to Ebized's topic in National Events & Shows
Roughly what time do you guys think you'll be back at the Moreton after Saturday's drive? There's a chance I might be able to make a fleeting appearance... I'm assuming it's ok to gatecrash as long as you're not on the drive? S. -
I submitted an online form one the CC website on Wednesday asking them to get back to me with a quote and they haven't bothered ...perhaps they don't want business from us Nissan owners anymore? S.

Crickey. I've also heard word that they want Benitez back. These next manager rumours are giving more giggles than the original post S.

Lol yikes I wonder what mines really is with the decats. What rpm was that tested at? The noise chappy asked me to go up to 6K so that was the 6K db. I returned to Oulton the following day with the bungs in to be retested but had another problem.....I'd managed to loose one of the bungs en-route ...couldn't believe it, what a t!t I am! I can't figure out how it happened as they were properly bolted on but the noise tester said it does happen occasionally. He also read the db out of the pipe with the bung in and said it was fine and I've sourced a replacement bung so hopefully I'm all sorted now! It was fezza owner's day at Oulton and I don't know how well they appreciated a noisy little Nissan gatecrashing the party Yup, this has happened to me even with the O2 spacers from Zmanalex. Unfortunately my fault management light came on earlier in the week too and this was despite the oxygen sensors being fitted along with the Berks. We read and re-set them with the diagnostics scanner and it hasn't come back since but has made me realise it's best to get the remap done soon. I was half tempted to get up to RS Tuning in Leeds armed with a credit card and beg them to squeeze me in this week but didn't really want to do Oulton without being familiar of how the car feels chipped. When meeting with Liverpool's owners Kenny Dalglish was told to "put himself in the fans' shoes". This is why he is now unemployed and on the dole.

Aw, thank you my dear went to get the exhaust sound checked today and it failed the circuit's standards ooops. Nothing a few bungs stuck on won't fix though I'm sure. I've seen your thread/report (and replied). Sounds like you had a blast S.
-
Sounds like you had a great day Annie and sounds like Colin's a good egg. So when's the next track day S.
-
109 db Time to dig the bungs out of the garage I guess. Ooops! S.
