  1. Sorted now - many thanks Seems a bit of a faff that you have to register just to view the forums Ta again, S.
  2. Hi all, I want to look for something on www.300zx.co.uk, I've not used the site before but I've been trying to get on for several days but can't seem to access the forums at all - can't see any threads/posts aside from a 'welcome' one. Is the site broken? I'm assuming it is a functioning site as it seems to show lots of members and guests online (some names I think I recognise from here hence me asking). I've tried using both Chrome and IE. Any ideas? Thanks S.
  3. old-skool rappers talk for stereo I've PMed him on facebook for you S.
  4. He's on my Facebook list so I'll send him a message for you I'm guessing my payment for the boombox went through ok? S.
  5. unfortunately I'm not coming out to play at Oulton this week anymore had a bit of an expensive month and left it too late to book! Let me know when you're doing another one Chris as I'm definitely going to be going to Oulton again soon...I'm seriously considering getting a track toy as I really don't want to f**k up the Zed.
  6. well, on his rather classy shirt to be exact... On an episode of TopGear on the Dave channel today, the one with David Tennant as the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car. I know that I should probably get out more but I'll blame the rain for being stuck indoors all day. I'm hoping at least that I'll win a prize for the saddest post in this 'spotted' forum. S.
  7. Wishing Dave a speedy recovery S.
  8. Nipped out for half an hour this afternoon and spotted a glut of previously unspotted silver Zeds today at 5.00pm-ish 1) Private plate beginning with 'V' near Sainsburys roundabout. Thanks for the wave! 2) J6 ***, topless roadster near the Bars roundabout 3) Silver 370z on Hoole Road. Not a bad 'spotted' haul for 30 mins! S.
  9. Further to my previous post in this thread re CostCo selling the Super Sports....they're currently on offer there at 20% off a set of 4 so are just under £800 fitted with the Nitrogen stuff (offer's on from 11th June - 1st July '12). The rest of the Pilot range (and other Michelin's) are also 20% off a set of 4. Hope that's of use to someone! Chris/CrumbMC - how are you getting on with the Supers? still liking them? S.
  10. Nicely done! awesome images and can't beat them old skool beats! S.
  11. are you sure that's not a scene from a 'Carry On' film? Glad young Zedley's back on his travels - wonder how many miles he's covered now? S.
  12. My cousin works for that company on the same site featured in that YouTube vid doing refurbs for the interiors. It sounds pretty fun as they get to blow stuff up and play with explosions to test how suitable new materials will be in case of onboard fires etc. Even more interesting however is that one of his colleagues has a 350z which graces the carpark each day...dunno if he's on here though S.
  13. Another HFC fan here too - my car sounds fantastic and I had plenty of compliments on the exhaust note at Oulton Sorry to crash this thread but I've a quick Q re the UpRev - do you actually see any MPG gains? I've read conflicting reports and whilst a better MPG isn't something I'm overly concerned with any improvement will help to justify the cost of the UpRev to my other-half teehee. Thanks, S.
  14. Stop being mean on Annie! The poor girl's clearly still suffering from last week's sunstroke - firstly today she say's she hates window tints and now this peculiar wing mirror idea. Here's a few ideas for you TwoBears: 1) PoundLand 2) Nick them off a Mini Cooper 3) 99p Stores 4) Do DIY job - I know you have the same vinyl sources as I do! 5) PoundWorld 6) The local covered market 7) S.

    window tinting

I'm loving those tints - looks fantastic. Really does look stunning on a black car. Out of interest, what would happen if the law caught you? Would you just be told to remove it or do you get a penalty? I'd love to get mine done but I'm risking getting unwanted attention as it is with a noisy exhaust. S.
  16. Sorry to hear your Zed's in car hospital already! It's gonna be a long two weeks for you Shortly after I got mine it was in and out of the garage having a few niggle sorted out and I missed it dreadfully haha. However the good thing is that the night before you collect it again it will be like Christmas Eve with all the excitement S.
  17. Which head unit have you bought? I'm after a new one. Sorry to hijack the thread! S.
  18. Aw, little potato dude must have been taking a nap as he wasn't about when I made my brief visit. Or perhaps he was scared of me. Or maybe getting (s)mashed behind the bar? Cracking pics though! S.
  19. I'm still hoping to do this one so you might be stuck with me again sorry! I should know for definite by the end of this week S.
  20. I have this on my car too - if you feel behind the corner of the skirt that it's dripping from you'll probably (hopefully!) find out that it's just a load of mud and crap that's absorbed moisture and drips. It always happens after my car's been bathed and from the looks of yours I'm guessing you gave it a clean over the weekend? Hope it is only the same 'problem' as mine! S.
  21. Hope my comment didn't come across as a bit 'off' - wasn't calling you a compo **** so no worries I'm loving the email exchange and think it's an inspiration to us all! Anyhoo, I've been given the nickname 'the rottie' for growling loudly at the complaints department. And I'm pretty proud of the fact that I haggle at M&S
  22. To be fair, yes, I could have phoned them but when they invite you on their website to submit a form for them to get back to you with a quote you kinda assume that's what will happen It was lunchtime when I submitted the enquiry - I thought that as it would be a busy time of day with customers contacting them and staff taking lunch breaks it would be the most efficient way to contact them. But I'm a ditzy blonde so assumed wrong! S.
  23. Alas not quite that loud it was only 109db - unfortunately I don't know exactly what it is with those pesky bungs in but it must be something under 105db as that's Oulton's limit and it passed. Another vote for BuddyClub from me S.
  24. Nicely done So come on then, how many boxes of free stuff have you acquired after sending in letters of complaint? Are you this semi-mythical character who got a years supply of KitKats because you found one missing a wafer inside? Glad you got the hol sorted! S.
