Spotted a very naughty zed driver today doing the unthinkable act of being on the phone behind the wheel that's a hangable offence in some countries you know! 'Twas a silver zed, coming from VX turning onto the A55 at about 11.45am. Also saw a silver roadster today in Helsby at about 3.00pm - I did give a wave (I was in a yellow leon FR ) S.

I don't know if anyone recalled my weird dent/scratch thing on my bonnet that I posted up on here ages ago... Well, I finally had it repaired earlier this week as well as my Nismo front splitter repaired (Mr Squee had a slight whoopsie with a kerb lol), and the front end resprayed by Collins Motor Care in Chester (behind the new Bill Smith's Honda). They've done an excellent job and I'm thrilled with it and a cracking price (under £300). The guy who runs the place used to import 350z's so knows his stuff too. Anyhoo, just thought I'd post that in case anyone searches for Chester sprayers S.

Ricey - I thought I saw you in the TT in Boughton the other day in that I saw a black '62 plate TT which had been exceptionally detailed being driven by a male. I don't think I've seen a male in a TT before hence I thought it might have been you. But then I realised you've probs got the personal plate on by now. And also I don't know what you look like (a squirrel according to the avatar) so I thought best not to wave....Nice car anyway! S.

Spotted a black(?) 370Z, reg plate T23 *** today on Sainsburys roundabout/junction thing About 5.15pm. 370 was going from Chester onto A55. Looked nice! I was in the (probably out of sight) black 300ZX (ie a proper Zed ) on the VX end of the junction S.

Lol, to be fair it runs fine, mechanically all good just looks a bit rough. I had grand designs for it and thought I'd do a few Wheeler Dealer-esque tricks to spruce it up but it just aint happened yet (damn you Edd China for making it look so easy!). And the constant rain over the last six weeks hasn't helped....especially with a leaky targa top

+1 on this, I'm not a big believer in 'little, informal chats' with the police, a sure fire way for you to chat yourself into trouble. If it was my car and I was in that situ I probably couldn't remember who was driving 6 months ago, but that approach could mean dropping Mother se350z in it so maybe not an option. Best thing you could do is post up your predicament on the Pepipoo forum as that's a dedicated site for points/parking/police. Hope you get it sorted! S.

Got a good wave from a silver zed on Thursday - almost crashed in disbelief as we all know how miserable those primer coloured ones are V8 *** plate, on the A41 in Chester at about 5.00pm. S.

Have you priced up importing one in better condition? I've heard that Germany is a good place to buy imported US V8's (I'm assuming it's because of the US military bases out there) which of course means you don't have to pay the same import duties compared to bringing one over from the States yourself. S.

I agree that the staff at Chester DVLA are excellent, I couldn't believe how helpful they were when I had all my drama with the ZX a couple of months back. Shrewsbury are terrible though, don't bother with them! So is it definite that the Chester branch is going? I knew that a percentage of local DVLA offices were going to be closed, but I didn't know that Chester was a cert. S.

Has anyone done one of the 20 min taster sessions at Oulton Park? If so what are they like? I'm thinking it might be a good idea for me to do one of those in my ZX to help judge whether it could hack a whole trackday without wasting a couple of hundred £ on it... I'm wondering if they'd let you have two goes for £50 as 20 mins doesn't seem nearly enough... S.

Hey Chris That was my first track day since the one we were both on, I was hoping to do one sooner but a few things cropped up. I only booked the trackday on Monday, very much last minute. Would have been great if you were there too! Hope you have a good time in Florida. And make sure you take a big enough suitcase to bring back a pair of Berks the trader I bought mine from, who is on here, is based in Florida so you could call in and say 'Hi' lol. S.
