Hi all, I've not signed up to this yet but intend to do so although have a full tank of fuel so won't be re-fuelling for a couple of weeks yet. Anyhoo, some of you may be aware of cashback sites such as Quido and TopCashBack and TCB currently have a promotion on where you download and app and scan/photo receipts and you earn cashback on certain purchases. Currently one of these is £2 cashback on £10 fuel spend at petrol stations (Shell, Essco and many supermarkets). As mentioned I haven't signed up myself but thought it might be of use to some of you on here I'm gonna try and get onto it tonight but I have a very sickly iPhone and I think downloading an app might send it over the edge A link to a more in depth discussion is here: http://www.hotukdeal...erative-1475851 And linky to sign up to the actual thing is here: http://www.topcashba...pAndSave/Offers S. EDIT: the HotUKDeals site is now saying you can only get £2 max cash back so maybe don't bother wasting too much time on this one

Diab, was it a 370? I had a bit of fun with a white 370 round the ringroad just before Christmas but don't think they're on here S.

Mike Brewer, of Wheeler Dealers fame, has just opened a garage in Sheff and whilst I doubt he's got Edd China in the workshop you'd hope that the wouldn't rip you off! I think it's down near Bramhall Rd, S.

sorry to hear about your brother and hope his situation improves. S.

I try to only buy meat from sources where the animal has (allegedly) been treated well. Yeah it's more expensive than buying cheapo stuff but I'm trying to have more veggie days so save money that way. Bizarrely my local post office sells local meat from more ethical farms cheaper than 'regular' supermarket meat so I'm pretty lucky... about £3.50 for two large chicken breasts and tastes much better than Sainsburys stuff. I do however love chinese food and of course you can only assume that it's cheap meat in that so I'm a bit of a hypocrite there although you can get some dishes with tofu in instead of meat. In fact Chinese supermarkets are a great place to buy tofu and a really tasty way of cooking it is to rub strips of it with salt, pepper, oil and chilli flakes and grill on a George Forum for about 10 mins...crispy on the outside and quite meaty in the middle. Damn I want some now! S.

did he quote you for a new one?

It's cos all the kool kids of OV plates. There seems to be loads of OV Zeds about...my theory is that the OV area (Oxford) covers Cranfield where Nissan's techincal centre is...someone I know who worked there when 350's came out said that "everyone" in the company bought a Zed so the OV area has a higher than average proportion of Zeds. It's probably wrong but I do like a good conspiracy theory. yeah, they're the ones, gotta go back next week...once I've turned the house upside down looking for 3 years worth of receipts S.

Just one of those annoying things that happen unfortunately...I did the same thing as your Mrs and went into the back of someone at a roundabout in my Zed last November. There was a crack on my numberplate and no damage to their car (a Fusion) but we exchanged details anyway...next day they rang me and said they can't open their boot and the Ford garage say it'll be over £1K to fix so they were adamant to go through the insurers It's still not been settled yet but my insurers have told me they've claimed for 8 days car hire so god knows what the final total will be. The occupants of the other car were all in their 80s (and on their way home from a funeral!) and it doesn't look like they're claiming for whiplash. They've since told me they wanted to go through the insurance and "do it properly" because I "looked far too young to be driving that Porche" I was a bit pi**ed at myself for doing it but first claim in 10 years and I had my NCB protected. As someone on this forum said recently "there's no harm in an accident as long as it's not fatal". Hope you get it sorted though matey. Big ball of stress innit!? S.

I've not been myself but I've heard a lot of good things about the Cape Verde Islands and it sounds like it will fit the bill for you. Flight times under 6 hours and very un-commercial although the main tour operators are offering packages there (Thomson etc) so it's not too expensive. It's off the coast of Africa but has a big Portuguese influence and has a 'Brazilian' feel to it apparently. As mentioned I've not been myself but I certainly intend to in the next couple of years. OV54 plate Zeds are the best. Faster than the others too so you've done well there Diab (sorry I got your username wrong in the first post by the way!). The 'AP' plated ginger Zed was on Sandpiper Road. I had to go to the accountants again in the week and it was there again so must be a regular. Pete, don't think this was a import. Had Rays so I'm assuming a UK GT spec. S.

I had cause to have my first ever foray to Chester business park earlier today and fully expected to see at least one Zed as it seems that every Chester-based member of this site works there (apart from me, ha!). Only saw one, a sunset which wasn't Carla's and I don't think Diablo's, plate began 'AP'...if there's three sunsets in that one small area of Chester then that's pretty impressive! S.

crikey Mr SMD....I regret posting it now S

Annie! sorry I never got back to you about that mug printing thing...you know chaotic things get in the run up to Christmas! Are you still planning on going to the P&P show? S. -
some of you may know that I'm a garment printer (official tailor of Zedley!) and I got my mitts on some ossum carbon fibre vinyl for garments earlier this week which should make for some quite tasty t-shirts S.

I can envisage one of these in the family fleet someday. However they're still a bit subtle for me so I'll use a time-machine to go back to the late 90's and buy some spinners for it. Whatever did happen to spinners anyway?!? S.

Sorry to break the bad news to you BBK but H from Steps died recently S.

I thought the same as the WHSmith on the high street just sells odd crap like expensive pencil cases but apparently they are raking it in from their air port and station outlets. S.

My friend (non-forum'er) had his GT4 up for sale in the autumn and had bu*ger all interest so ended up trading it in for just under £5k for his replacement car... a 1.0 EcoBoost Fiesta S.

Is this possibly one of the most ugly cars and paint jobs ever
Squee replied to 350 Russ's topic in Off Topic Discussion
On sports/performance cars that colour would look pretty good but on that little hatchback thing it looks like the poor lil car's being made to wear a high viz jacket. Or a dunces cap. S. -
Crickey! Talk about double trouble! Congrats to all S.
