  1. Looks good Ricey Did I see on 'the 'Book' that you had it done at GoldenDragon? I'm thinking of having one on my back of the last supper but featuring dead rappers (Biggie and 2Pac et al) rather than Jesus and the disciples. I think I might have seen the idea on MTV's Cribs above a ballers pool table and found it very tasteful. S.
  2. Might be Saltney Tyres dude with a wrap, he's got a mahoosive spoiler (dunno what it is but non Nismo and MASSIVE) and JDM. I think last time I saw him he was on at least 19" rims but I guess if he was in motion you might not have noticed the wheels. Oh and I think his reg plate relates to his business so has something like STS in it (Saltney Tyre Services). S.
  3. And there was me thinking BitCoin was only for those buying narcotics on Silk Road! S.
  4. I *think* I might have seen this near me in Waverton a few months ago but I thought he had it for sale :S S.
  5. You'd be surprised how uptight some customers get over a sodding t-shirt. And telling them that just get's them very upset. So I dread to think what your customers are like :S Go to the rally Sarah350 - looks like great fun S.
  6. wish I was able to attend properly this year but my probation officer says I mustn't hang around with known felons so I have to give it a miss sorry Have fun all! S.
  7. I kinda agree with FlexiB that if it's down to your personality you'll may struggle more than others to switch off I'm lucky enough to be self-employed and work long hours but I'm very laid back and don't let much stuff bother me. My other half is a bit of a worrier and I think if he was self employed he'd have a very tough time switching off. I tend to work from 7.30am-5.00pm most of the time but near Christmas can do up to 16 hours a day and like others have said having a separate room in the house helps. Sometimes if I'm having a bit of a hard day I treat myself to a blast round the countryside in the Zed and that seems to do the trick. I'm also getting a dog soon so I can go for walks as I'm aware that sometimes I can go for a couple of days without leaving the house which doesn't bother me but probably isn't good for anyone. I guess you must get plenty of exercise with the dog grooming business tho! Incidentally I'm another one who does t-shirt printing and signage...seems to be a few of us now on the forum. Dog grooming does sound ossum fun I was at the National dog show in Stafford at the weekend...some of the hair do's on the poodles are pretty crazy. I'd never been to a dog show before and can honestly say it was the highest concentration of eccentics in any one place that I've ever been to. Except from my very brief soiree to the Wales meet last year S.

    Datsun Love

Not the best pic but these are my two beloved Datsuns I've now got deep dish style rims on the ZX and mahoosive stainless steal tail pipes (yes I am a secret chav!). Must get some new and better pics! S.
  9. I don't own a watch either! I don't believe in the concept of time S.
  10. Haha yep don't blame you! It's actually a family member I employ but next person I take on will be an oldie (or 'mature lady' as you more delicately put it ) Good luck with the staff hunt! s.
  11. I've done a similar thing Annie, I have an outsourced worker who prints for me. Just work out how long the task takes you, add about 10% of time as they'll be slower than you, and divide an hour over how many items processed/sewn in that hour. I don't think you actually have to pay home workers minimum wage but don't quote me on that! For what it's worth, I pay my worker 70p per item which, if she concentrated on the task rather than dicking about on FaceBook/W.O.W whilst on the job, would work out as about £7ph...which I think is good going for a 17 year old! If yours is for more skilled work then I guess you'd be wanting to pay more and be more selective over staff S.
  12. If I was the seller in this scenario, with two people PM'ing/posting their interest to buy at pretty much the same time, I'd flip a coin to decide the winner and explain the situation to both the winner and loser. Of course if one of them lived local and could collect to save the faff of postage then I'd more than likely give them preference. S.
  13. Happy birthday Pete! Nice day for it S.
  14. Congrats Chris! Bit different from Oulton eh?! The karting place on 3 floors sounds well fun. I'd love to sneak into a multistory carpark one night when it's empty and razz up to the top floor and down again as fast as I can in my zed lol. S.
  15. Thank you Treacle....I do indeed run one but looks like TwoBears has cleared up here for me That'll teach me not to log-in for a couple of weeks S.
  16. Was just in front of a nice looking modified silver 53 import with vented bonnet this evening. Whitchurch/Prees Heath area. I was in the black ZX S.
  17. Send them to Ricey S.
  18. Yep that's me, always doing a disappearing act even more so when I accidentally have embarrassing footwear on haha. and yep the phone signal was shocking at Oulton! I'm hoping to do another couple of track days this year, will probably be Oulton although I would like to try Anglesea sometime. It was my first time watching the British GT. Those Audi's sounded pretty fine lol. Must make my Zed even LOUDER to complete haha. S.
  19. Hahaha! yeah I did, the other-half's uncle was on the gate there so we snuck in for free! You should have come and said hello! I was actually dying from embarrassment all day as once I parked up I realised I still had my slippers on! Needless to say I felt like a right tool all day lol. That wasn't your Zed I spotted was it?!? S.
  20. Oh they look adorable! Keep the faith BBK...you're bound to meet a lovely man soon with those super culinary skills. S.

    Cuba

Another one here been to Cayos Coco...got a last minute deal about 5 years ago for £425 for 4* all inc hotel and flights. For that money I would most certainly go again but I don't think I would go there for a honeymoon...I think people on 'special holidays' tend to have higher hopes and requirements and at the time most of the poor reviews on Trip Advisor were from those who'd spent £4k...if you spent that money little things would p!ss you off a lot more than if you only spent 400 quid. Although I enjoyed it some of the stuff in Ricey's review sounds very familar...the food was pretty crap but you're on a (virtually) communist island with a massive trade embargo against it so they do have problems getting fresh food in (this is particularly the case in the Coco Is apparently). I'm so glad I saw Havana tho, that was amazing as it's probably gonna be dragged into the 21st century pretty quick after the Castro bro's pop off so seeing the place in it's 50's splendor was well worth the £425 alone. In Cuba pretty much all the hotels are all-inc and to be honest that's not my cup of tea...if I was going to honeymoon in the Caribbean I'd probs go to somewhere like Barbados or Bermuda where there's resorts where you wander around the towns and go to rum shacks and get trollied with the locals. S. Edit: sorry, thought I'd read in first post you were considering it for a honeymoon rather than just a regular hol
  22. As above, spotted a silver Zed, reg plate ending in EZO at Oulton Park today. S.
  23. Well it did look very clean, done a good job there I was on foot not in my zed when I spotted yours so C19 aint me sorry. S.
  24. Spotted a very very clean black Zed in China town in Manchester earlier today at about 12.30pm. Looked schweeet. YH04 *** reg. S.
