Think this is going to be on my todo list soon as well, had an MOT advisory on it.

I've got the cobra non-res exhausts, which sounds really nice but I don't get any popping. It sounds like its almost there though. Any idea which would give me better pops and bangs at this stage - y-pipe or hfc? Presumably hfc as ypipe would only give slight improvements in flow?

Its easily done. My wife rolled her car into the garage door last week- just relieved it wasn't the zed. Made a bit of a mess of the garage though. Lol on the choice of tunes

I had some oddities with the traction control when I had changed the steering wheel and misaligned the sensor behind the steering wheel. Presumably you've not been messing with the steering wheel at all and it's a standard factory one?

Looks good, liking the gold heat tape. I didn't have much luck with most of the earlier photos in the thread - may be my internet!

Finally got the bolt pictures on photobucket. This is what the bolts looked like: After mopping them, got to: Then finally put them back together and back on the car, added the volk centre caps and gold nuts. Very pleased, think they look pretty nice.

Good suggestion jetpilot but I quite like the contrast and clearly shows the split rim pieces.

Really good day and more sun than clouds, not sure that's a good thing though as i got more than a little sunburnt. Nice to meet some members and see their cars in the flesh - especially parello's green 370 - v nice. Hopefully I didn't bore too many with the woes of my modification fails

Thanks, well I'll be hiding at the back of the plot, on my scummed up stock 18s with no tread, at japfest later. Getting up in 6 hours - Needed a few beers to null the disappointment - feeling a bit better now

I didn't manage to find direct replacements so have been trying to tidy up the remaining ones. I used a mop on my drill with some blue and pink compound to improve them. Thyre not perfect but a lot better than they were, I struggled with the last couple of nuts though and had to wire brush all the threads and retap the threads on the last two. At which time I realised they were actually m7s. Got the wheels back together now and they're looking pretty good. Not perfect but I'm happy. I've also bought some gold nuts to tart them up for japfest. Here's a picture of the centres. Another of the wheel with the centres in. Looks nice but a complete fail. I got the centres the wrong way around!!! Th dont clear the calipers so have had to put the horrible 18s back on. Damn it - i had asked my guy to label them up so i knew which way round they went but he decided it wasn't necessary. Which means my car looks the worst it ever has I had a bodykit and spoiler ready and was let down, went to fit the spoiler tonight and the colour was completely wrong - not even close. Total japfest fail.
