My brother in law has shown me 'launch control' on his Audi S4,awsome,eyes shot to back of head and stomach churned,also leaves my Zed for dead

I too am on my 2nd 350z,bought one in 2005,kept it for 18months,bought another 2months ago,much prefer the looks to the 370z. Still makes me smile when i take her out for a drive even when the mpg shows low 20's.Hope you have as much fun.

Hi,welcome to 350z world. Dont live far from you,near Huthwaite,travel to work in Kirkby most days,got a 'ginger' one on private plate.

My rear silencer went in same place,weld around the flange,new one from Stealers was..................£378inc vat + fitting.Managed to get a very good second hand one off here for £140,got it fitted at my local garage for £35.The old one i am going to get welded up and hopefully sell it on here.

Wonder if the first time a OEM exhaust is removed no body bothers to reattach the strap.

Replaced my OEM rear silencer today,what a pain in neck,literally, to remove.While struggling to undo the flange nuts,noticed there was an earth strap from the body to the nut on the flange.As exspected this broke. Anyone know if this HAS to be replaced or can it be left off?

Been offered some Goodyear Effecient Grip at a good price for the rear,anyone heard any feedback on these?

All depends on what you want and who has it available,i got mine through DVLA,was a newish reg and their fee was all inclusive.If you look on different websites you will see a lot with the same reg for sale so it is definitly worth looking at several different sites.

I have 2 plates,one on retension with my initials ..51 SAN and one on the Zed that i purchased about a month ago that is a 'non transferable plate',believe it belong to someone from Africa.....A..ULU!

When i went to 'stealers' i asked for an exhaust gasket,from your description was given the crush ring.Hope that when come to fit it dont have any problems.May even get a fireproof one just in case from ZMANALEX.

Went to my local Nissan dealers,Evans Halshaw in Mansfield as i needed an exhaust gasket for the rear silencer on my 05'zed,told price of £15.73inc vat Had to pay before they would order it.While waiting i decided to enquire about the same gasket at another Nissan dealer,Gordon Lambs at Chesterfield,their price £12.78inc vat I asked if it was a 'special' price,no,standard Nissan price.When i went to pick up the ordered gasket i asked them to double check their price,they said their price was right.I asked how come they were charging more than Gordon Lambs,their reply 'we told you a price and you agreed to pay it,and that i should have rang around before going to them.I then told them that i felt that they were just ripping me off and wouldnt use them again. Is it the usual thing for dealers to charge different prices as they all get their parts from the same place,ie NISSAN? ps.ROBBING B......S
