Really? I don't think thats a pretty good price for the year. Cosmetics are easily sorted from traders on here. Seat bolster is a little more tricky but there are specialists out there. Depends if its wear or a tear......wear can sometimes be 'treated' with leather repair kits - won't be perfect but it could save a fair bit. Piccies would be useful to help more Yea I believe it was a tear unfortunately if it'd be sub £200 to sort I'd probably be ok with it. I'll put the pics up tomorrow evening after work when I'm on the computer. I have seen some for that much racinggreen, but not many 05 ones with that mileage, they seem to be over 10k from what I've seen. In the time I've been looking, black ones seem to be few and far between so I may end up paying for that as I'm fussy on colour

Hi all. Went to see a Zed yesterday and I was wondering if some of you would be kind enough to give me your opinion on it. It was a black (ideal), 05 plate GT with 50k miles on the clock. The car sounded sweet running and had good looking service history with the P3 13k miles ago at 37k and a P1 since then. Since finding the service schedule on here if I get serious I'll check over all bills/receipts and also use the buyers' guide to check common problems have been dealt with. The guy said it had just passed an MOT so that may point to some potential issues. The few problems noticed were mainly cosmetics apart from one of my mates thinking to check the aircron, he said it was cold but could be colder so a re-gas maybe in order. Other than that a couple of bits of plastic trim inside were scratched/scuffed and the driver's seat had a bit of a nasty tear/blemish on the side bolster of the base. Are these pieces of plastic relatively easy to get hold of and how much do you reckon it'd cost to fix that part of the seat? Can look past those minor bits if they are easy to sort out. Could also do with detailing although I'd prune it within an inch of it's life so that's not a problem lol, providing there's no actual damage to the paint. It doesn't have Rays unfortunately and the fronts are a little scuffed. To be honest I was so overwhelmed by how awesome the car looked I wasn't that bothered by the lack of Rays, deep-dish Rotas would be in order eventually and I've also seen the Rays fairly well priced on here. It does also have probably the best benefit of buying from a garage in the form of a 1 month unconditional warranty and a further 11 months on engine and gearbox. List price is £9.5k although with the cosmetics if I can get serious I'd try and get it down to at least £9k. Sorry for the long one guys but if I could get your opinions on the price etc and some info on the plastic and leather it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Dan

I had looked at yours magic, unfortunately silver really isn't my thing and I'm never going to be in a financial position to respray (otherwise I'd have a lime green one ) Looks a good example though, should shift soon at that price I would've thought

Howdy, Looking for my next car after my Celica GT, going for something newer and a mate kindly pointed out to me that a 350z is attainable with my budget. Being only 22 I thought insurance would be awful and it is, apart from Elephant/Admiral who'll do it fully comp for less than my GT was TPFT Also, mods don't increase the premium as much as I'd feared. Will be in a position to look in about a week but I'll probably wait 'til payday early June so I have a bit more money to play with and I'll also be 23 then may or may not make some difference to my insurance. I should be able to stretch to spending £8,500 and will limiting myself to GTs or JDM STs (or just generally well equipped JDMs). Just one (or two) queries, if I may. I've looked at the buyers guide which was very helpful but a couple of things that weren't in there were clutches and cambelts, how long do these last? I'm guessing that the cambelt may be included in the P3 but I've got no idea at all with the clutch. If I spend the full budget I'm really going to need these to have plenty of life in them.
