  2. In a aim to redeem my IT monkey status and save face... The science bit the reason you pic wouldnt display is cos its protected by that site you nicked it from, thats why the address of the pic is actually that of a pic stored in cache (temporary storage). However there are ways around and fingers crossed this is the image you were posting, else ill look silly again
  3. I am a IT monkey thats the problem Nixy can post what she likes, as long as its in a new thread we can stay clear of it

  8. Actually on studying further im thinking its not a Bose as im sure the Bose has two white sockets at the bottom so i reckon, steering controls is a +1
  9. IF its a Bose system i think its for the Amp in the boot.
  10. I think the word you are all looking for is 'Responsibility' Its the senders responsibility to ensure its packaged and if required insurred. If it was the other way round we could all package up damaged goods, sell them and blame couriers. Good luck getting it sorted

  13. +1 for the guide there Head Unit Installation its the one i used and is very accurate, only hard part i found was unplugging the ISO connectors on the Air con unit. Also make sure you use a magnetic screwdriver as dropping the screws can be a real pain in the arse. good luck

  15. My house mate probably would before beer, if its got a pulse he will have a go
  16. Im the same Stan and totally feel your pain, Ive been working from home for 6 years now been at my company 10 years. For some in IT when the @*!# hits the fan you have to do what it takes however long. One horror story from me to make you feel a little better is, i do a lot of my work late at night as too not disturb the workers too much as they pretty much do sod all on a night shift lol. I was making some routine changes on the system one night and had to make some changes to one of the database tables which required me to export all the data, make the change then re-import. This is a fairly straight forward procedure as im sure you can imagine but for some reason the data export got corrupted and would not import. Id been on my feet from 9am by now and it was 1am the next day. I tried frantically to sort out the export file and at 8am i finally decided to ring the MD and push the panic buttons as i had to tell him id just lost over 5000 live and back orders from our system. Finally at 3pm i managed to get it sorted and was able to go bed but i must of spent at least 15 hours starring at a excel spreadsheet
  17. Back on topic for a bit, i got the promo copy of this song and 8 other remixes
  18. If you think that will help go for it!
