  1. Ill be going Snetterton anyway Mark so you will see it there I got a fault with my lateral steering sensor so when i pull away its fine but as soon as i turn the steering wheel it throws the traction control out and disables it. Ive had a experinced auto electrician look at it and he has diagnosed it but wont fit a 2nd hand sensor and a new one is £700. Im popping up to see Lee soon so i will let him fix it
  2. Unvailing will be at santa pod this sunday, all invited Its been great to get back behind the wheel although i have a little problem which disables my traction control so am taking it easy at the moment, probably a good thing.
  3. Yes its not a lie, i have finally got my car back. Im so over the moon, the bosyshop done a fantastic job with all the work. Anyway got to go help a mate move, good excuss to do loads of miles in the car A very happy Madmarky

  5. Yank it out from the top so the top clip unclips, then lift it towards the roof. If its first time coming off it will be quite stiff.
  6. bought 2 sets from halfords already, but without joy, did they come in a pack or something? will have to check out other halfords in the area i think as mine is a bit poor on stock.
  7. Thx Sarah. I picked up my refurbed wheels today and they look amazing. Getting tyres swapped of tomorrow so these wheels will have to go soon so someone surely make a me a offer
  8. Ok im getting quite stressed with this. Ive removed my rear washer jet and am trying to find a grommet that will go in place. I know some others have done this but my question is where the hell did you buy your grommet. I have bought about 10 so far in different packs and none of them fit very well. Someone help for the love of god
  9. Looking unlikely that i will get it back now. The bodyshop is struggling to finish off mine and a few others so looks like ill have to sit another meet out On the plus side i got my wheels back today and they look awesome so something to be happy about
  10. Yeah i cant believe there still in my garage lol Cheers for the bumps and thx Keith for the extra photos

  12. Its really touch and go whether the car will be ready for this but im still fingers and toes crossed. Still seems like loads left to do but the guy at the bodyshop says so long as there isnt a problem with anything it will be done and he doesnt forsee any probs

    bodyshops?

mark which body shop do you use, my old man knows the owner of vw panels/qa auto repairs and they have always be quality for my cars in the past (not an approved one for my insurer though so couldnt take the z there for repair ) but if you dont want to travel quite as far i got mine back today from LC accident repairs in letchworth so a bit closer to you and the colour match, panel gaps and fit is absolutely top class , owners called Lance and the bodyshop manager is called Dean Hi Yeti, yeah i know Jock at VW panels also, think everyone in bedford does by now . Im using Bedford Auto Panels as its owned by a friends family. Its a great bodyshop and Geoff who runs it is a good guy and a excellent sprayer. They will bend over backwards to help and do what you want them to do and will always give advice when you ask for it. Its not the cheapest bodyshop around but i dont think you will find a better one for service and dedication but you often get that with family businesses. R35LEE's brother owns a bodyshop and even he was impressed with the setup they had. By the way yeti if you see me next week make sure you flash a few times and ill pull over for ya

    bodyshops?

Theres always the bodyshop mine is at in Bedford, again further than im sure you want to go but sometimes travelling is worth it if you know its gonna be done right
  15. Yeah my car will be ready by then for definate so ill be there. Should be getting the tyres taken back off the wheels next week so they could be all yours and as i said i would even deliver, sooooo tempting eh
  16. Looks very nice mate, ive always wanted to see a wrapped car in the flesh

    new wheels

Yeah as the guys have stated no probs running 20's with teh correct offset. I have a brand new set of Ultralite GTII's up for grabs at the moment, have a look at the link under my sig and let me know if your interested
  19. Take it from me the genuine kit isnt the best fit either but any decent bodyshop will sort everything out. IMHO spend the money on a decent bodyshop rather than the geniune kit. These copies are pretty good from what ive seen.
  20. Hi Cookie, yeah as Stew says, will fit straight on, several different tyre options i run 245/35/20 Front and 285/30/20 Rear. Also ill say one other thing, Norwich is fine for me to deliver the wheels to your door!
  21. Not the bodyshop's fault, its the aftermath of the accident being realised. Nothing a bit of money wont sort as always tho /sigh
  22. Im really hoping to get it sorted for this but having more problems, fingers crossed tho
  23. Ok guys, seeing as im gonna need more money to sort my car out im gonna have to get rid of these really quickly now. I was gonna wait to see how my old wheels refurbed but i just cant wait. These wheels are brand new, unmarked and never been on a car but have had tyres fitted and balanced. The tyres will be removed before sale as they are going on my old wheels. I bought these wheels from Envy to go on my car 4 months ago but since then have found someone to refurb my old wheels which is my preference. Spec of the wheels are: Front - 20 x 8.5 ET 35 Rear - 20 x 10 ET 35 These wheels are the perfect setup for the 350z and finished in the Gun Metallic with a chrome lip. Also included will be 20 bolts which had to be purchased seperately - you will ned to purchase 5 extra bolts or a set of locking nuts. Im looking for around £700 but will accept sensible offers, also i may be able to deliver if your not a million miles away. Any questions feel free to PM
  24. Yeah im on Lee's list to call me back but i know hes busy at the mo so thought i would open it for discussion
  25. Today i had a guy from a diagnosis company try find out why since my crash the esp light stays on. Well i got a call from the bodyshop and its very bad news, aparently cos ive had a 2nd hadn steering rack its interfeering with the longitude steering angle sensor whatever the hell that is. The guy said that he had seen this problem before and he cannot set the steering rack to my sensor. He advised that i need to buy a brand new sensor and a brand new rack to definately 100% fix this issue but said that maybe just a new sensor will sort it. Not sure on price of rack but the sensor alone is £700. Anyone know anything about this before i totally skint myself out once again
