  1. This is the way I do it. Remove strut barce and engine cover. Only 2 parts to really take care with when jet washing is the sensor on the intake and if you have a exposed filter on the intake cover that up too. Areas shown below: Then I cover the whole lot in a degreaser, I personally recommend Gunk although some areas are covered with some sticky yellow residue which can later be detailed with something stronger like meths or white spirits. Once you the whole lot, get your detail brushes out and try get in every nook and cranny. Rinse off and repeat until your happy. When im done with the cleaning I normally run the engine for 15 minutes to dry off any excess water that may have accumulated. Then apply some sort of engine dresser and buff off to protect and shine. Stick it all back together, grab yourself a nice cool beer and enjoy.
  2. i think that would require the bonnet to be removed and possibly the strut brace too Depends how long it is

  9. Voted I know im a bit bitter about not making it through but I really feel like complaining about this competition. How comes there are only 8 in your heat and 12 in all the others But the thing that pi**ed me off the most is the fact that the car that one my heat, the 180B, all be it a lovely motor had a full feature in the magazine the month of the heat. Its run worse than one of riks competitions if you ask me . Good luck anyway mate.
  10. When we were at Wales the guy from the detailing company was applying the wax, buffing off then using the red mist straight away, so im sure what the benefits are. Might be best to pm clb and see what they say, they are great on advice.
  11. Yes I am playing eve at the moment, just in a small mining corp.
  12. So the other day my 24" cheapo flatscreen tv went bang leaving nothing to watch the world cup on except running tvcatchup.com on my pc, which was ok to start with, but after a few days got on my nerves. So I thought I would invest in a new tv for my office. I shopped around and finally went for a 32" LG flatscreen to match my monitors. When I got it out the box my initial reaction was OMG its way too big, which is the exact same expression I used when I first got my 3 monitors. Have just finished setting it all up and thought I would share. On the bottom I have 3 x 21" widescreen LG monitors all running through a TripleHead2Go system, and on the top I have the mentioned 32" LG tv also linked to my pc via a DVI-HDMI cable. What you think, overkill? Forgive the picture but the room isnt really big enough to easily capture the whole setup.
  13. It doesn't work due to? Due too R35Lee being a fag! Only joking, it hasn't worked since I had my little accident, my cruise control, horn and airbag also don't work so its something electrical, we have tried replacing a few bits but haven't solved it yet. Its just not important enough for me to spend hundreds of pounds getting it properly diagnosed, ill just keep swapping bits with Lee until we sort it
  14. Mine doesn't work so its always off for me, makes me drive much more carefully tho which I suppose is a good thing.
  15. If you want slightly smaller but still get good signal get a new shape corsa one, the have a coiled aerial which is great boost for the reception. Sorry this is the best pic i have of it as most of my photos are of the other side. Its a great flush fitting tho and works very well, probably better than the standard but be interested in you doing some tests
  16. Very nice example and welcome back. Just wait for the spaces at stubby people to post
  17. With stuff still running so not too bad
  18. That is definitely more important, am looking forward to seeing it
  19. Need to change the image first before flushing the cache or did you do that also?
  20. It doesnt work like that on most browsers Rich cos when the PhpBB creates the forum it creates a table which will have a minimum width. On most browsers when this width is past it simply cuts of what you can see rather than resizing. Here is the solution to whoever develops the website (probably Chris) in the style sheet you need to get rid of the following section from the header or alternively a easier way is to make a copy of delete bottomr.png and rename a copy of bottomm.png to bottomr.png Hope this helps I was planning on doing your first suggestion. The buttons dont actually encroatch on each other, its that spacer portion that needs removing. Chances are the theme was developed for 1024x768 and standard buttons, so mostly looks fine for most people I think the simplest option is option 2, would probably take 2 mins if you got ftp access. Just use IE to test and shrink window horizontally till it dissapears
