Bought the 325i subject to a couple of minor repairs, front bumper painter and ding on side removed. The sales man has been great. I finally got £22800 for my car and i am paying £10500 for the 325i with a years BMW warranty, tax etc. the reason why no one else would give me mre than £20k trade in is that a customer would need to pay around £500 per month to finance it and bmw offer great pcp's on new cars that other dealers cant match on used. As my car is so new with so little milage bmw will sell it as a demo/ pre reg/ nearly new and would be able to offer it on a pcp. Ok you have a final payment but who keeps there cars that long anyway and most folk have negative equity up to around 3 years also. I spoke to another dealership (non bmw) who had a vert similar 325i as the one i'm buying for £500 less than the approved bmw i'm buying and they only offered me £20000 trade in. So technically my car is £2300 cheaper.

Happy days, ive had 2 astra vxr's great car at the time and felt really fast. Dont think i would go back to fwd ever again though, well in a sports car though. Hope you enjoy the zed!

I had a test drive today and the car pulled like a train. Full service history all there from previous owner. There's receipts in folders for everything including bulbs getting fitted at bmw. Honestly who would go th a bmw fealer and pay £18 labour to have a bulb replaced. Only thing is, when i checked the service status on the cars computer, it said rear breaks 25000 miles, front breaks, 15,000 miles etc, but it said oil change 25000 miles or march 2015????? I know its just all been serviced and its 2 year oil changes, but 25000 miles!!!! Cant be right, can it?

lol total carb overload? I ended up dehydrated because i had a really bad case of the skitter's! not good! I know full well what I've just eaten is like 3 days worth of fats and sugars. taste soooooo good though. The skitters will get you, lol! relying on cider to sort that out lol I'd stick a toilet roll in the freezer just incase!

One time i had to cut a lot of weight before a fight. I had to lose 6 kilo's fight week. Anyway i got weighed the day before the fight and went straight to pizza hut and nearly killed myself. I ended up at A+E and nearly missed the fight the next day, lol!

I agree that its not perfect but it makes sense to me. I appreciate your advice, but don't speak for others, because tats not the feedback ive been getting. At the end of the day, its only money and a car!! Things could be worse, im only trying to save myself a few bob.

No i wouldnt buy another one TBH, but the car is reasonable priced and i'm getting an extra £3500 trade in going back to bmw. Apposed to trading in my bmw to a used car dealer or a nissan dealer fr a zed. Therefore i reckon i'm really getting the used beemer for £7500 because the trade in is so good. If i decide to sell the beemer privately before buying another zed i could sell it for as little as £8500 and still be better off trading my new car into somewhere, plus i would pay over the top for the zed from a garage. This way i could be a cash buyer buyin private. Here's 2 examples of what ive been offered 1) buy a zed from a garage for £11000 and get trade in price of £19000 for my beemer = a zed and £8000 in bank. 2) buy this beemer from bmw for £10500 and get £22500 trade in for my new beemer = a beemer and £12000 in bank. Then if i want sell the beemer for £8500 and buy the same zed privately for £8000 = a zed and £12500 in bank! Simples!!! £4000-£4500 better off. The car is the 2.5L straight six and not the newer 3.0L that they fitted into the 325i. Anyone know if its a good engine?

The purchase logic is good, not sure about the devaluation logic though Yeah, i'm probably being a bit optimistic, lol. But i'll lose £10k easily in the next 4 years on my current car, especially with the new 4 series out later this year. I'd expect to lose about £3k on the used one. Having the used beemer and a pocket full of cash will put me in a really good position when buying a 313 as i'll be a cash buyer in absolutely no rush. If i dont find what i'm looking for i could always keep saving and buy a 370z in a few years.
