Government must think that their God, charging a pollution charge. Not as if they spend any of the money on "cleaning the air"!
Technically our pollution charge should be sent to north east Africa as its them who suffer the consequences of our CO output!

Glad your enjoying it, I'm a big fan of the Z4M but the 3.0 is a good choice. Good looking car
Cheers mate. I was thinking that the Z4 M must be an absolute monster, if my 3.0si is anything to go by!

What a hairdressers car...

Picked up my BMW Z4 3.0si from Infinity Glasgow today and ive been smilling all day!
Since getting rid of my Zed a few years ago i chopped and changed cars for all sorts of different reasons, but ive always missed my old zed.
Anyway ive finally found the perfect replacement and i'm absolutely delighted. I feel the same way about this new car as i did about my Zed!

Now try and keep this one for more than a month or so
I definitely will this time because it ticks all my boxes.
Coupe, 2 seats, 6 cylinders, 3.0l, 5.7 sec's to 60, limited to 155, 32 combined mpg, £280 a year road tax, cheap insurance and a wee bit rare!
Didn't the last one tick all the boxes.... and the one before that
Probably, but different boxes now! Lol.

Some lovely cars on here, would love the chance to drive a E-type, owing one would be ....I really wanted a M3, but for the sake of family harmony ended up in a lesser BMW.
If you dont mind me asking, are those CSL replica alloys and if so where did you buy them?

Still an awesome machine and i prefer the 335i to the M3!!

What does all the members who no longer own or haven't yet owned a Zed drive?
-
Honestly mate, my Zed had standard OEM alloys on it and it drove pretty well, but after i had a go in NeilP's zed with the ray alloys it felt totally different.
OK Neil has probably done a hell of a lot of upgrades to his car, but even he said the rays make a big difference!

Might make something the weekend before Stuarty, not around the 15th mate.
Just noticed Zmanalex has organised a cracking meet the week before, so most members will be attending that i'm sure!
-
Anyone intrested in a mini meet on Sunday 15th September or a mid week meet in September?
Nothing major, just a catch up in or around Lanarkshire area.
-
Waste of a good walk, TBH!
-
Sorry mate, just back home. Hope your car turned out well!

T18, was in my mates car as he passed. There is some amount of zeds in lanarkshire these days!
I passed a few in Wishaw earlier too mate!
What colours? mines is in the body shop in wishaw, they better not be out and about in it lol
Black and GM. What bodyshop you using?
That good none of them are mine, RC body works round the back of tesco. They done my HR bonnet and resprayed the full front end, colour match was perfect and the price was top notch !
That's Roman's place. Yeah he's great! He's good friends with my nephew Alan and offered to do a full respray on my zed a few years ago for £600! Works his arse off btw!
Give me a shout when your picking up if you like mate, i'm just up the road from him.

Mobility Cars (Rant)!!!
in Off Topic Discussion

Pisses me off that folk can get any car they want with their mobility benefits. I know someone who uses his mobility to pay towards the cost of a new M3. Also, his full road tax gets covered.
Fact is, all mobility cars should be the same make and model, same colour and should also be wrapped with a big disabled logo on the side. That way they wouldn't need a daft wee badge.
If you don't take the car offered, tough, get the bus!
Also 2 cars should be available one for folk who don't need a wheel chair and a slightly larger car for folk who have disabled appliances!
