I am looking to get the black grille and CF lip (that fits directly underneath). Just wondering for each how are they fitted onto the OEM bumper? I am not exactly what you'd call a technically able person, so would like to know how easy it is to fit these. Also interested to know what the postage to Luxembourg would be, as that is where I live. Cheers, Ryan

Hi all, Just thought I'd ask some opinions on an idea I had. As I've got the pre-facelift model, there are the two slight indents in the bonnet. Thought it might look nice to get some CF vinyl and cut it to fit inside along the two indents to form stripes on my grey 350Z... leaving sharpened ends to the stripes towards the front bumper. Could anyone provide me feedback on whether they think this would look good/bad? Cheers, Ryan

How hard is it to come across a Nismo body kit for a 350Z nowadays?

Pretty horrendous really... Maybe if it was "N15 SMO" or something like that. To call it the "Ultimate" Zed Plate is a tad optimistic!

Always good to get a heads up, but sounds dodgy regardless...

Nice if you want to just cruise around, but terrible if you are like me and want to use the zed for what it's intended for imho!

I bought a set of LED bulbs off eBay and they lasted maybe 1-2 months. As crap as the OEM sidelight bulbs look, you can't fault them. I'd really like to get myself some new LED sidelights, but the issue is that they are such a pain to replace if/when they go wrong. I had to get my garage to fit them last time because I am utterly useless when it comes to getting access to them.

I'm really interested in getting the Zunsport black grill for mine along with the same CF lip that spursmaddave has on his Z. Subtle change, but does wonders for the looks of the front end IMO. Great combination!

I bought one of these for mine. On the second one now in 2 years. The finish is not as durable as stock. Same supplier too. Ready for another new one. Thinking of going back to a stock Nissan one. What I am planning on doing once I receive the Z badges (front and rear) is to coat them in a few layers of clear lacquer before applying to the body. Hopefully this will protect against the elements and give better durability. I will also do this for the Z centre caps when I order them. Has anyone else tried this? Feedback would be appreciated on the results.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it illegal for a police officer to exceed the speed limit while off duty in a civilian car. Police cars (even unmarked) are generally required to have five doors. Do you know if it was a 3 or 5 door? I might be inclined to think he was on his way to start his shift and was late. Judging by the fact that he was flashing you to get out of the way. Also, due to the fact that he did not officially pull you over, it would lead me to believe he was off duty. As a result, I highly doubt he can submit an official report due to the fact that he himself was speeding, and some might argue, driving recklessly.

Yeah, I'm looking at getting the Z centre caps too (especially as I've just ordered the Z badges for front and rear). Contacted the eBay user I bought the badges from and he informed me he should have more in stock mid-May. His eBay user name is "k2hks0". Hope that helps.

I'd be up for going too... living in Luxembourg it's a slightly shorter trip for me. Will be taking the Z if I come obviously. Would be my first time at Le Mans (usually I do F1 Grand Prixs) so should be interesting!
