  2. I'm already going to Portugal in July for 2 weeks... unfortunately for fuel economy purposes I have to leave the Zed behind and drive the missus 1.2 Corsa!!!! I think I might kill myself on the way down out of boredom!

Yeah, just checked the forecast - seems to be good! Btw, the cooper s and tt you have coming with you... tuned? and are your zeds standard? or got some mods?
  4. Next step - some wheel spacers maybe? 20mm fronts and 25mm rears?

The weather is looking good for this weekend lads! Should be dry until Monday! Looking forward to this.

  7. Blackforest trip looks like you'll be passing through past me in Luxembourg (if you fancy a rest stop?)

Getting somewhat excited about the Ring in a week or so. Never been before, so really hoping that the weather is dry and sunny, as a wet track would truly be a baptism of fire! I heard something about video cameras being banned on track, does anyone know if that includes GoPros? Apparently you can rent a video camera though?
  11. Nice one. Thanks for the heads up AliveBoy!
  12. Hi Steve, could you please reply to my PM? Thanks!
  13. I'd say that I am using medium pressure to brake, from about 80mph down to 20-30mph. Lock is not applied.
  14. The last time I had all wheels aligned was by Sly maybe just over a year ago. I am not sure whether I'd need to align them again, but I remember when he did it, he said that they required a fair amount of adjustment. (Apparently hadn't been done by previous owner, and Nissan don't do it usually). As for weighting, I did have new tyres put on recently, but I imagine they would have weighted them correctly as it was done at a professional shop.
  15. Hi all, Curious to find out if anyone else has had the same issue at all. I recently fitted spacers to the Rays to allow them to sit flush on the Zed. I have however noticed that when turning off the motorway for example, when the brakes are applied the steering wheel is juddering quite a lot more than you'd expect. I am wondering if anyone else has had the same issues? Things to note: - I am positive that the spacers are securely fitted and not loose. - I recently had the brake discs and pads changed by Sly at Kaizer Motors. - Brake fluid is at a good level. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Cheers, Ryan
  16. Yeah, as Rob says... I think you mean 245 45 R18 for the rears lol I've had my fair share of issues with the Zed, but never anything quite like that! Am very interested to hear what the problem turns out to be! Hope it's an easy and inexpensive solution!
  17. Still no news I'm assuming?

Alright, well I am taking the Zed probably either the Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th May. Daveyboy, you taking your Zed did you say? Either you or GT4 Zed want to meet up there?
  19. The Nissan dealership here in Luxembourg wanted me to pay €3300 (around £2400) for me to get a new clutch and flywheel. I took it to Sly at Kaizer Motors and he did the whole lot for less than £800 if I remember correctly. Same thing happened again at Nissan when I needed new discs and pads for the Zed... around £2500.... so once again told them politely where to go and took it to Sly's for the work!
  20. Does the flat peak cap change? Or is it the same cap every day? lol
  21. One further question actually... what sort of exhaust system did you run with these? And how close were you to the limit for MOTs?
  22. Was literally just about to point you in the direction of this.
