  1. Glad you got rid of that awful bonnet scoop!!! Whoever fitted that needs a trip to specsavers!
  2. By the looks of the pics... Priceless!
  3. RS8055

In terms of wheels, I know that both 350Z and 370Z have a fitment of 5x114.3, but not sure about offset I'm afraid!
  4. Just a thought... but: http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/uprated/eibach-pro-spacers/nissan/350z.html
  5. 5 years of ownership here, and every day is like the first day I got in it and fired up the engine. Can't stop grinning while driving it!
  6. Easiest is to heat the area with a hairdryer carefully, then I use goo gone and a bit of elbow grease to get the excess glue off.
  7. Interesting take on the original, but not entirely convinced that it can really live up the same stunning design as the original!
  8. It's REALLY easy to do yourself.... safest way I would say is to heat the badge with a hair dryer (or do it on a warm sunny day). Then use either fishing line or dental floss to saw underneath the badge. This will cut through the glue and the badge will fall off. Then just clean up the area thoroughly and place the new badge on it.
  9. Window motor is going to be expensive wherever you go really... I got my passenger motor done at Sly's place (Kaizer Motor) down in Rochester. Depending on where you are located, I'm sure some forum members could advise you on where to go local to you?
  10. I got some up-rated boot gas struts from SGS Engineering. They are fantastic and an easy install for even the simplest of minds... seeing as I managed to do it myself! http://www.sgs-engineering.com/car-boot-tailgate/nissan/350z Price is per strut obviously! And overall great customer service!
  11. to the forum, and most of all good luck with that! That will be an extremely expensive process!
  12. Yeah, the GT Pack should have Bose, Cruise Control (controls left and right side on the steering wheel) and I believe Rays too? And of course,
  13. It's like my father... he has had a long line of BMW, Audi and now a Merc (as well as a RR Vogue) and he drives light a saint... so much so that it irritates me!) Speaking of a**hole drivers... my Zed now has a delighful dent in the front left side bumper and front wing thanks to some pr*ck that stopped his car in the slow lane of the motorway this morning. The slip road was jammed with cars, so this cleverclogs decides to continue past and try to push in to the line further up, to no avail... leaving his car firmly blocking the slow lane. I'm driving along at around 50mph due to visible traffic... then suddenly the car in front of me moves quickly into the fast lane with no indication... and there is this bloody car stopped and nowhere to go for me. Slammed the brakes on, then came the point when you realize you won't stop in time, so I took evasive action and swerved the only place I could (into the fast lane) and clipped a car in the fast lane. The french pr*ck drove off.
  14. I love how these have been painted. I recently sprayed mine black, but ultimately wanted to have the lip polished like that! Would be very interested to know how you did that. GLWTS
  15. Try living with French and Belgian drivers going to work every morning!! These imbeciles will literally hog the fast lane doing about 10mph UNDER the speed limit when there is nobody in the slow lane. When you come up behind them, they decide to put the pedal to the metal in their birdbox of a 90's 1.0 Clio.... not noticing that they have the same acceleration as a decrepid old man with a peg leg! They simply refuse to move from the fast lane. Then get aggressive with you once you indicate to the slow lane and whisk past them after having waited for what seems to be an age for them to move. It's bad for me too... makes me feel like a BMW/Audi driver even though no other option is presented!
  16. It looks like it's been built up from a TVR Cerbera as a base but adapted a little... tough to say!
  17. As Ekona says, it's because they are arseholes, not because they're driving 4x4s. I occasionally drive my father's RR Vogue if I need to transport something that won't fit in the Zed... I know it's dimensions, and I know how much room I need to use. What I don't like is how people (if you can call them that) who try to bully you off the road because they have an inferiority complex. In my view, there are 4 types of 4x4 driver (arsehole category): 1. Bully you off the road - inferiority complex 2. "Soccer moms" taking their kids to school, blissfully unaware of their surroundings 3. Executive businessmen who don't give a toss about who you are or what you're driving - he believes he is superior to you in every way and needs to show this. 4. The "size matters" idiot who thinks that because his/her car is bigger than yours, they have priority and you should bow down to them. On moments like these, I have no greater wish than to equip myself with a tank, and drive at them. See what they do then.
  18. Over here in Luxembourg, I'm surprised that I pay so much less (albeit on a DE)... but it also does not go up thankfully. 6 months is €201 and 12 months is €383. So converted that comes to around: 6 months: £158 12 months: £300
