Welcome and great work on the lights, like new.

Hi, sounds a little similar to the problem i'm having.
The Zed seems to start fine when cold (98of the time), but if I’ve been driving for a while, say stop at say the services, when I come back to the car 20 minutes later it is very reluctant to start. Battery is fine, it turns over fine and semi starts, burbles a little before dying. After numerous attempts it fires up and runs as if nothing has happened! Everything is standard, battery isn't that old and its only a recent issue. Last spot of work done on the car was a new clutch a fly wheel about 6 plus months back.

Many thanks to Ewan and Clark Motorsort for their help, fantastic service and great delivery.
New cluch and fly wheel now fitted, runs like new, so much quieter too.
Cheers

Hi all,
Thank for the information, so both it is.
This has opened a can of worms.........
I understand the duel mass helps damp vibrations etc. what benefits are to be gained with a lightweight single please?
Cheers again.

Thanks guys, appreciated.
Without sounding too daft!! Why would you change the fly wheel as well?
Would the damping springs etc be worn?

Absolutely amazing work buddy!!!

Hi, my clutch finally died this weekend, lots of slipping when putting the power down, so time for a replacement.
It is the original one and has nearly done 80k.
Looking for a replacement that won't cost the earth and would be suitable for the odd track day etc.
Car is a standard 53 plate GT.
Cheers Steve.

Words escape me,

Wow!! What size lump did that have??
-
Think it's great, much more user friendly, more accessible menu's etc. Colour scheme may not be to everyone's taste. Back ground move behind the icons, gives the iPad a cheap 3D effect! iTunes, photos etc are improved and easier to use. Even takes up less memory!!

Same on mine, just need to wait a split second longer before changing.
Not really a problem at lower speeds.
After two years of ownership it hasn't got any worse, that I've noticed or caused any issues.
Also added some Molyslip on last service a month ago, has helped a little.

I have one that I'm looking to sell, PM with an email address and I'll send a couple of photos over. Its a Zed specific one with pockets for mirrors and airel, heat resistant material around the exhaust, embroidered on the bonnet and has a clear window for the rear number plate. Great condition, hardly used as I tend to pop her in the garage. Cheers Steve

Assuming this is for Brembos?
How much to post please?
Cheers

Me too, in very good condition!

Ah, any recommended torque wrenches ?
I had one but I've lost the bugger.
I've got a small and medium Teng, can't fault them.
Can't remember the Nm ranges off the top of my head.

Toe Eye SOLD, thanks.

Samsco Intake pipe and Toe Eye sold pending payment.

I would like the intake pipe if you still have it.....
Hi buddy, have had a PM already, if this falls through I'll let you know.
Cheers

Thanks Ceejay29.
I'm easily confused!!
-
No problem!! Nicely put!!
Well, thanks for clarifying that for me and potential buyers.
I had purchased it from a fellow forum user and was unaware if this.
Apologies to CeeJay29 for miss informing you.
That said, anyone want a copy 'Benen' toe eye for £20 plus postage??

Just replied steveytt.

Have a length you can have.
Not sure on gauge, but can stick a vernier across it.
Definitely thicker than 4!
Picked up some terminals on eBay and crimped them on.
