  1. You never know, it might still be for sale in a month or two! Get saving

I've also found the old floor mats, not the best of condition but they can go in the sale as well! The new owner will be driving home with a boot load at this rate :D

  2. Thanks for the nice words! Hopefully the new owner will love and look after the car as much as I have.

Forgot to say, I would be willing to sell the car as it currently is but with the Rays instead of the LMGT4's as it's a quick job swapping over 4 wheels. I would only do this if the car was provisionally sold with Rays, I won't be taking offers on the wheels before the car is sold, if sold separately.

After owning my dream car for 2 years it's time to move on! Looking at buying a house and having not really driven the car this year it seems the logical thing to do. THe car was bought from another 350z UK member who also ensured it was very well looked after.

The car has no expense spared on it and I have kept a record of every penny over the past 2 years. As well as this it comes with a lot of paperwork from the previous owners as shown in the photographs. There are 3 former owners and I will try to get some interior photographs when the weather picks up, it's in great condition.

The car has been modified, as it currently stands I'm looking at selling with the following:

Looking for £9500. I'm not looking to part exchange. I'm in no massive rush to sell so no silly offers. I'm also not looking at splitting the parts so please don't post asking for dibs as I know if I do split the LMGT4's won't last long

Nearly forgot to say, I also have the original front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper which will all be included in the sale if the buyer wants them. They're currently wrapped up safely in the garage. And the OEM cats!

  4. Looking on AT and PH it seems 2004-2005 with under 50,000 miles are going for anywhere between £7-9000 realistically. I do wonder how long some of those have been up for sale though as £9000 for what looks like an OEM zed seems a bit far fetched!

  5. Forgot to add that it has full service history at Nissan garages or specialists and the most recent service was P3 in December where I even had all the spark plugs changed so it really won't need anything for a good couple of years, except for the minor P1 service in December!

Think I might try advertising as is for £8500 and if there's no interest in 8-12 weeks ill start stripping it back to OEM.

I didn't think it would take long for people's interest in the wheels to be known ;)

What's a set of Rays worth with decent tread on tyres? Think one of the wheels has slight bubbling but no kerbing, £500?

  6. Yes! It's been remapped and on the rollers twice. Currently running 302bhp which was after the HFCs were added. Both times at RS Tuning in Leeds and I have print outs.

Is it worth advertising as is or removing the spoiler/bumper first? Not sure if advertising as is then re-advertising without the spoiler and rear bumper might out people off.

  7. After 2 glorious years of being a zed owner I might be forced to sell the car as I'm looking at buying a house. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to let me know what my car is worth if sold private, roughly.

The car is modified and I think I'd be selling the LMGT4's separately as well as removing the rear spoiler and rear bumper but wondered what it would be worth as is and slightly more standard. I would be leaving the Nismo V2 front bumper replica on as the original one is peppered with stone chips.

I was thinking around £8000 without the LMGT4's, is that asking too much? I'm in no massive rush to sell and expect morons offering their Corsa if it goes on AutoTrader.

  8. Cheers Dblock, ECP it is this week! If I manage to get the car started this morning would that mean the battery is alright or do I still need to get a new one if RAC battery tester said is knackered?

Where's the 25% discount as well? There's 20% off on their site using WEBSAVER20

  9. Didn't think leaving the car for 2 weeks would kill the battery but looks like it has! RAC offered me one for £105 but I assumed I could get one cheaper elsewhere.

Any recommendations? Is it just a 005 I need or something more specific?

    Thanks!

  10. If you're within driving distance of Westway Stockport I'd take it to Lockwood & Greenwood instead. Been there twice, definitely recommend them over a Nissan dealer. And you still get a stamp that says Nissan as I think they're Nissan approved something or other.

  11. Went with 245 & 275 in the end.

Tyre fitters have managed to scuff one of my wheels, they've offered to pay for the refurb but still a pain in the ass. Need to find out whether the refurb should be painted of powder-coated, they're satin black LMGT4's.

  12. This happened to me a lot last winter, had to stand outside for ages pouring water over the door. I never worked out if it was the window being stuck causing it or the internal lock as when I pressed the fob nothing moved!

I've solved it this year by deciding to work from home for the next 4 weeks

  13. Currently running 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 and one of my front's is bald on the inside. Wondering is there any real world difference for daily driving between 245 and 235 as 235 is 20% less cost wise.

Not trying to cheap out on it, just wondering if there's an actual difference for the extra cost. It's on an 8.5J LMGT4.
