  1. I missed the bonnet last time round - Now that is a nice finish - especially for the inside - love it when owners go the extra mile and do a proper job - Kudos mate
  2. I have never played with Plasti Dip at all - maybe I should - Mind you I fancy building a big oven and powder coating a whole car - now there is a project I have issues
  3. I can't use that excuse - I don't have a social life - I don't really have a life according to my daughters - as in "O Get a life dad" Maybe I'll play it and see if it helps
  4. Opppseeee Glad you are OK mate
  5. Are you running OEM suspension? Rear is nearly always slightly lighter spring rate than the front - front takes the weight when braking so need to be harder to compensate for this and engine weight, stops nose dive and hopefully under steer when braking hard into corners.
  6. Not that common to crack them - but like anything it can and does happen. What Y pipe have you got? The ones without flexis put more vibration into the CATs. Get those welded ASAP they should be OK.
  7. Well that was fun He threw in a gearbox oil change as well - keep us on out toes Nice to see you and your beast again mate To Humpy and Dexter who dropped in for a cuppa and a chat EDIT: Dexter drank more brews though
  8. Run my MPSS at 32 cold in the summer 34 cold in winter if that helps - I have wider than stock rims and tyres though. To check shocks bounce the car firmly down in one corner (don't bend the body panels) release and stand back - car should rise and settle with no extra bouncing or rocking - if it looks like a water bed then all 4 are shot (or it's got early French suspension - older Citrons do that when they are OK ) If you cant bounce the car then either the shocks have lost all rebound and are shot or the springs are to hard Did one the other day and when we took the shock off it just goes all the way down, you should not be able to push it down by hand this one had to be held up That was no oil due to a split seal. Hope it helps
  9. The 2 timing little "£$%^& I just got the same email - went straight to spam though
  10. I am helping to build yours so it's hopeless for you really
  11. I would check the shocks first then the droplinks - ARB's very rarely wear out - I have seen them bent though Bushes is another good call to check - all this after tyre pressure (as you have had an alignment done)
  12. what I haven't told Andy is which Zed I'm fitting them on See ya tomorrow mate. @Humpy kettles always on mate
  13. BCM = In automotive electronics, body control module is a generic term for an electronic control unit responsible for monitoring and controlling various electronic accessories in a vehicle's body. Typically in a car the BCM controls the power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, immobilizer system, central locking, etc. Hope that helps No idea which fuse - check em all
  14. I keep telling Wasso set a realistic end date - June is fine (as long as it is June 2016) I kept mine longer than Octet - even if not much But to be honest I really enjoyed building mine - got it even better now as I have the 370z (which I am modding again at the moment) and the Radical so play with one drive the other then switch - great fun all round Hope to get a new and improved Zed Shed this year as well so I can take on these projects with more vigor (and more space!!!!!!)
  15. Just so you know it wasn't me and I don't have a goldfish Still Sux though - hope you find them but it's unlikely I fear
  16. I must add that to my servicing schedule sounds like a really good idea
  17. When I put the complete GT-Spec bracing on my 350 This was out of stock but arrived a few months later, I never got round to fitting it and as I now have a 370 I am offering it up for sale SOLD Mods please lock
