Might have one round the back of the shed - will have a look in daylight tomorrow for you If not try
  5. Nice use of the newly landscaped garden mate Great zorst - GLWS
  6. What you basing that on Bennet? I ask as 4" was picked after research - in fact 4" is considered border line too big for an N/A LS engine - apparently the performance drops of dramatically if the pipes are to big. 4" was used as it's as big as you can go N/A but is also fine for first stage SC. This is because the engine was developed for the American market and has the CAT's and numerous silencers to keep it legal over there - this creates high back pressure that the designers took into account on the LS3 - This is just what we have been told by tuners and doing some research. If we are wrong the Zorst has not been built yet so we can easily upgrade to 5" now for very little cost - Best get it right now I think Bennett means tail pipe size not exhaust size 4" is huge though! Mines only 3" Yer Think I read that wrong first time - You only need 3 Wasso has a 6.3 - don't think you quite make that much displacement I only picked up on it as we were discussing Zorst size/bore yesterday and thought we may have missed something

  9. Look What I picked up on Friday Out with the mesh Getting the shape Stick them down Then using anything and everything hold the mesh in the right place to stick the other side All finished so Buster and I (with an assist from Wasso) fitted them today. Teaser pic - Spent the rest of the afternoon shaping the boot Just about there now so hope to get a coat of primer on tomorrow ready for the wrap to be re-done. Also need to get the Wing painted. Stay Tuned ................................
  10. Does that mean mine was not done well? You liked the Frogster though
  11. Why didn't I think of that Nice line of black silicone across the back will be just the job
  12. That's what both I and the guy doing the wrap thought but the primer on them is strange it sort of breaks down when you put the wrap on and comes of like flower - I probably could have got away with just sanding them down with 600 or 800, but the wings are fiber glass and quite thin, If you hold them up to the light you can see through them. So black will stop any light coming through which may change the shade of the wrap - 2 birds one stone and all that
  13. We now try the test fit of the spoiler .... Not bad but needs work - then we find a BIG problem ..... OMG - I can't live with that - the new spoiler is narrower than the original and when they did the wrap it looks like the left the tape/glue on the boot So wrap off and sure enough I have had a word and they will be re doing the boot for me so not all bad. As I had to take the wrap off anyway I thought I'd go a bit further by sorting out the dozens of holes the old spoiler left and a wiper delete the other holes are the new ones for the new spoiler Now things get worse. When the new spoiler is lined up at the ends it fits very well for an after market part The same however cannot be said for the middle so I made this Now this was supposed to be a quick easy fix to cover the hole that the rear light was in - However at this point I lost the ability to do anything - including weld properly -After getting a serious bag on, throwing my teddy in the corner the wife dragged me away for some food and a sit down. This does mean that much to my relief there are no pics of my horrendous welding. Back at I applied some filler and gave it a quick sand down Of course I followed the original boot line so ...... The spoiler is still not a good enough fit for me. Marked up where it needed to be padded out stuck a nice thick coat of filler on and went for a shower Hopefully I will get it looking good by the end of the weekend.... Stay Tuned.
  14. Well that won't go down as one of my best nights in the Zed Shed!!!!!!! The (horror) story ........ Took my wings down to be wrapped after we had done a test fit and drilled the holes for the mountings - they don't arrive drilled just the marks roughly where they need to be fitted. However I got a call to say that the primer just would not take the wrap as it was to dusty and causing issues. We decided that we would spray them black to act as a base coat and hopefully tie in with another plan. .................... Back they came and a sand down Primer and paint Please ignore the lovely orange peel affect, that was first coat and it helps if you remember to turn the pressure regulator down between running the sander and the spray gun I thought I will get the same problem when I send the spoiler in, that is waiting for the light to arrive as apparently it's an optional extra so we had to re-order it from the USA! So that was that little problem sorted - or so I thought ..........................
  15. Surely that would never happen??? Spend more on mods than you paid for a car Just doesn't sound plausible
  16. That sux mate - feel for you. Hang in there buddy.
  17. Thanks, something you don't see every day spose we have the modded 370z's on here lol! i think you just need more stretch Mine is having a few bits done this weekend - Had the night from hell on her tonight - I'll post up later if I get a chance, hope to get the wings back wrapped tomorrow to put back on. AND No I'm right less stretch and a bit lower
  18. Green and Black aye - Whats not to like??????? Absolutely love that mate top job. I would have defo gone for a bit less stretch on the tyres - I must say though the blue spokes grew on me very quickly Very different and very nice B)
  19. I used "you are"...... so I guess I win. So did I - draw ???
