Along the way we started to clear the decking
Built a new wall
We do have some rubble to clear
Not that the builders will be much help
Phase 4 soon - the big dig

Just to point out comments like this -
Will get you no where!!! How shallow do you think we are???
Dunno about the rest of you but I really like this guy already
My good lady wife thinks we should make this a shed moving party
We have a 20' long by 12' wide wooden shed in the back garden that needs to move about 20' to the left so with all the man power Mrs Keyser thinks we should give it a try.
I will have a 5 ton digger on site to add some serious pulling power though
Any one up for a challenge?
Replace the gasket with an OEM should be no need for anything else
Sealant will only be a temp fix but you will probably blow it out again due to boost
Not saying that is bad advice as every precaution to not do damage should be taken, however as far as I'm aware the ECU corruption thing happens on the HR engine not the DE.
The problem is not disconnecting the ECU as well as the battery - on an HR even if the battery is disconnected you can apparently damage the ECU and it is not an easy repair.
However always be careful when cleaning throttle bodies and/or MAF's on any model
I am quite happy to be corrected on that if anyone knows otherwise
and its Beaulieu
I don't believe the foreigners are correcting us now
@ OP - Congrats on the find mate sounds like a nice one
To cure the boredom while you wait to collect her you can pop down to mine and practice washing a Zed (I'll provide the Zed) that way you will be ready when yours arrives
Sounds like the fluid to me I'd go with the above and change it first then if it is still a problem look at the slave cylinder.
I'd use motul 660 or RBF 1000
Corrected that for you
As BM said check all mountings and check the drop links - they may be jamming if they are old and not the adjustable type, had an issue on Busters when we did his ARB's with lowering springs the pre load is very high when you lower the car.
It's a GT car and weighs in at around 1.4 ton so will never be super quick of the line (having said that my old 350 was pretty smart away but that had a wee bit more than 300HP)
The mid range is where these cars come into their own
A lower final drive ratio will improve acceleration but you trade off against top speed.
This is not the same as an LSD which is designed to lock the back axle to improve traction.
Hope it helps
EDIT: Ref the LSD if your a drifter you are using the diff to lock the back axle to improve control - thought I'd get that in before the drifters crucify me
I have retired
Blimey, I knew you were getting on a bit, guess I better slow down a bit, only done a full 240 resto, 370 TT converstion, 370 SC & 350SC installs in 7months
Is that all??
You need to speed up not slow down
Don't even need to rent on a contract now
I used to do that but now you pay a deposit on a bottle keep it as long as you want, get it refilled when you want and they give you the deposit back when you return the bottle
