  1. Why thank you kind sir none of it is rocket science, and who doesn't love driving big toys???? I also have Andy James who knows a bit about building (page 7 of the manual I think he is up to ) to keep an eye on things. As for the cakes they are not a problem here is last years - The Zed Shed chocolate surprise (the surprise was more chocolate inside Heart surgery - Hmmm not tried it yet but if someone has a guide and wants me to try I'll give it a bash I'll give pretty much anything at least one try - I suck at laying carpet for some reason though
  2. Epic days progress today, I took a day of work and alongside Andy James we broke the back of the site prep first load out - This guy can shift some big slabs our grab driver was Ellliot and hats of he goes the extra mile, nothing was to much trouble he knows his machine and how to use it and even cleared/built a dumping ramp each time he took a load out, hats of to the man. More soil out The totals were 12 x 20 ton trucks each carries approx 16 tons so 192 Tons of soil 2 x 20 ton and 1 10 ton truck load of concrete so - 42 tons of concrete blocks and rubble a grand total of 234 tons Moving on Andy had to say goodbye to his little pecker today It was worked hard yesterday though! So at the end of the day we have - Even did a bit of pegging out Proper mark out and start digging the footings tomorrow More Soon.
  3. When SMD stripped the car at the Zed Shed and everything was sold - including the car as Mrs Buster had it The brakes were sold to someone else (me) as a part X on JDM's it was planned to replace the JDM brakes as I only wanted a spare set to get them powder coated etc then swap them with the ones Mrs K had on her roadster. Both Mrs Buster and Mrs K sold the Zeds before this happened so the JDM brake setup is still on her. Think that's about right anyway
  4. Evening all, Time for an update Phase 1 - New Kitchen - Complete (Wife Happy) Phase 2 - New Utility Room - Complete (Wife very happy) Phase 3 - Remove old attached garage/Utility room, move boiler etc - Complete - well except a bit of render and the toilet needs a new sink) Onto Phase 4 the more interesting bit and we get to play with big boys toys The boys started on Monday, we (Mrs K and myself) had already cleared the site In a day we had 6 x 20 Ton trucks loaded and gone - awesome work All dug down up to the old camo shed base which was previously a subterranean green house Today Andy and I came across something that surprised us slightly well a lot to be honest, It was more a bunker than a green house - check out the amount of concrete we found Mad or what The solution was .......................... DIGGER WARS First 20 Ton load of concrete should be collected tomorrow morning - then we will dig out another load More coming soon
  5. OK so the good old British weather did not stop the Zed Shed anual BBQ Great to see everyone food was awesome so thanks to Mrs K and of course the chef Beb See you all again next year I hope

  7. Despite the rather wet Friday we have been getting on with the garden, Few roots out first Then I persuaded the shed it should be in the next door neighbors garden I persuaded it with this It used to look like this the other side of the garden looked like i flat packed the "camo" shed then we cleared the site More soon

  9. Weather forecast is crap for Sunday Still gonna keep our fingers crossed but it may be an indoor BBQ Had a wet one today so the back garden is a proper building site now as well mud everywhere So still hope to see the die hards Sunday
  10. But then you had to pay another £150 to change your name by deed poll to Andy James didn't you??? Mine is C5 CPU on the Zed Mrs K had K5 CPU and on the truck I have C5 KKJ all personal to us C5 my initials (almost) CS, and KKJ is the first initial of each of my family - wife and the two girls - I like em so that's all that matters

  14. Like that AliveBoy made me laugh Yer I got caught on a link earlier (reported of course) quick scan and no harm done - Usually so careful and this forum is usually so good for not being spammed, I blame the mods! Only joking - Luv you guys really you do an epic job Edit : I can do it as well now - We (me and Aliveboy) are under attack
  15. If you are using uprev with no piggy back ECU then you will be mapped closed loop which IMHO is best, you also retain knock sensors etc. We will probably have to tune the LS3 in Wasso's car open loop due to the aftermarket ECU Please get this verified by Jez or Mark as I don't want to lead you astray but that's as I understand it
  16. Her ya go - closed loop- ECU needs feedback from o2/ECT sensor to verify how much it has to correct fuel pulsewidth to bring the car to a stable stoichiometric value. open loop- ECU reads airflow values from a MAF/MAP sensor and dependant on that, dumps/withholds fuel to maintain a specific a/f (I didn't write it I copied it it I'm to lazy to type all that ) Another good description - When the engine is running in closed loop, it is using the A/F signal from the 02 sensor to regulate the mixture. There is a feedback "loop" between the sensor and ECU so the ECU continuously makes adjustments based on the 02 data. In open loop the 02 sensor isn't used and the ECU sets mixture based on stored maps and other sensors (coolant temp etc). Usually open loop is used on initial start and during warmup, until the 02 sensor reaches its operating temperature and produces a signal and the engine also reaches its operating temp, at which point the switch to closed loop takes place. Under heavy acceleration the system will generally go open loop (some vehicles may remain in closed loop).
  17. May have to tidy the garden before the BBQ O well I have a week
