Sorry folks been mega busy, so a few updates to keep you up to speed We have the first bit of steel up Pad stone for the center support steel at the front and the back Finished the path down the side of the house thanks to Wasso for the assist and in other news, I took all the smashed bits out of the wood burner it was a bit more mangled than I hoped but never mind I just converted it to a paraffin heater sorted the flue sand blasted and a quick coat of paint Just need to make some new hinge pins and door latches now and it's ready to go. and in other, other news I got another new project, needs some TLC but hopefully it will be worth more than I paid for it restored and give me plenty of fun making things. Andy James has nicknamed it the terminator yes a Bridgeport milling machine got a few bits n bobs with it as well and it came with a great instruction book So if you need anything machined drop me a PM I also got a consolation prize, got up at 5:30AM on Sunday and drove 200 miles to collect my "best offer" item from eBay only to find that I had apparently collected it on Saturday He say's it was a genuine mistake I don't know he says he got his text messages confused and he is 68 so maybe he did maybe he didn't - nothing I could do the item in question was long gone, so I declined his offer of £50 for fuel and instead got this at half the asking price May use it one day for something it's a sheet metal folder but its an antique and just looks so cool That's it for now, hoping for a big day on the garage tomorrow ....... I'll let you know how that turns out soon. Keyser and The Zed Shed Crew

OK OK Move along nothing to see here, move along please....... Well we have a little progress mostly in the "how to get your builder wet and pi**ed off department" I'll get some pics tomorrow if the rain stops for a few minutes to allow me to get them!!!! It's slow at the moment due to weather but we are still at it!!!!!!

Nice work

Cool I'm putting a set in the Radical so we can talk on track, let me know how well they work

I had water injection on mine, it was the difference between detonation and smooth running, as I had high comp ratio and FI we were getting det at about 3500 rpm water only was enough to reduce the inlet temp and get rid of that problem. Never added any meth but I did have a 75 shot of NOS for those times when 450 RWHP just won't do it O and it was mapped in with fail safe to the Haltech ECU so if anything does not do it's job at very least I got a warning light if not a limp mode setting. Ahhh the good old days

and back on topic ......................... So the flashing blade has been putting his back in over the last few days, here he is in action, He was so happy (and knackered) by the end of today as he had taken this lot and got the lot up looking like this when he left So me being the type of guy I am and not wanting his moral levels to get to high I set out a little surprise for the morning In other news the "Big Boy" Meccano set arrived today That should be fun to get into place Keyser and The Zed Shed Crew.

Just means to set piles of concrete blocks out near the walls - not to close so they can't lay them, but not to far that as it slows progress - we had 10 pallets delivered, but the lorry can't fit down the side of the house so he drops them in the front garden and we get to "bump" them round the back - it's even more fun when we get a scaffold and have to lift them 6 foot in the air Don't tell Wasso but I have another lorry load coming on Friday that needs "bumping out"
-
Yes but I can't have you getting mud on your shoes as you cross to the summer house, the paths need to be built ready for you
-
So all alone and on my own I built a path to join the Wasso path to the patio moved the garden furniture around and bumped out some more blocks for Andy on Monday Awesome Of course Bob came back to see how I got on all by my little lonesome he had a very, very close look yes to bloody close the C0CK last but not least I picked this up today - needs a bit of TLC but is in quite good nick under the rust, door hinges are broken as is the glass in one but for an almost freeby it's hopefully going to do a grand job keeping me warm on those long winter nights That's it for now Keyser and The Zed Shed Crew.

Onto the weekend, Wasso has decided I'm taking to long to get the garage built and his Zed into it so he came down on Friday to speed things along Now as you can see there is mud between the bungalow and the summer house doors No problem for the master path layer and in no time at all we had paths Sunday we had Buster on site to help things along - this is a scary works crew (Note Wasso the foreman) we did the inside of the doors Garage apron the side ramp Then Wasso and Bob came up with a load of feeble excuses around lunch time and left me on my own More in a mo ..........................

Hi all, sorry about the lack of updates been really busy between work, play and garage building. Any way on with the show as we have a lot to get through So at some point last week Andy and I needed to get the bit behind the Zed Shed 2 sorted as it will be a PITA after the walls are up so we started with this - and with a bit of back fill and some concrete we did this - while we were laying the concrete we added the first part of the new patio base Mrs Keyser is happy Then as we needed the exercise we spent the afternoon bumping out a few blocks Andy getting dehydrated About 700 blocks - not a bad afternoon as we had laid 12 ton of concrete in the morning The very next day Andy was back on the trowel for some more walls Getting some shape now More in a mo ..................................
