  1. I haven't been on much lately as you will probably have noticed and thanks to the people that got in touch to make sure all was well with me much appreciated. Not had the best of luck the last 2 years with both parents getting ill then passing on but it seems there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it may not be another train coming to flatten me again!!!!! So to prove I am back and to probably make most of you wish I would go away again I thought I'd post some more pics of my little projects to keep you entertained/bored/thinking that Eastenders may actually be worth watching So tonight we have ......... How to make a welder trolley out of the scarp laying around the garage Yes I have a scraps pile - here is one I made earlier for my other welder The next one is for the TiG, here it is with a sheet of metal from the bin, please note the newly made welding table marked that up and cut it down creating a spring in the process over to the bending machine - if you don't have one at home you can pop over and borrow mine quick weld in the corners and we have I then went back to the scarps pile and found this old jack handle and some brace thingy I'm sure you are on the edge of your seat to see what I did with them but at about that time the wife called me in for the evening meal so you will have to wait for the next installment To Be Continued ..........................................
  2. Hi everyone Well it is very, very close now so a few pics of where we are at..................... First I would like to show of a new addition to the tool range, I have added a second little compressor to go with this one - That (the blue one at the back) is the one from the original Zed Shed and will now be used to run my air fed mask when spraying, blasting or powder coating The new supply for tools, spray guns and the blaster is this bad boy - 22cfm free air delivery AWESOME!!!! also invested in some solid line to get the air round the rather large garage space that ends up in the main garage and over by the ramps to run the safety locks In the new garage I have a little more space as you can see... Final push this weekend and finish it of completely Easter weekend More Soon ..........................

  8. Saturday morning arrives and we finished the install set the max and minimum height sensors now we just needed a load test - of course if they have been installed wrong then the whole lot may come crashing down ......... What to do Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Then the solution presented itself in the way of this unsuspecting chap "Now your car is parked in my new garage can you just press that button while I stand safely out side please" And he did What do you know they work So I let him test it further Of course it was now nearly lunch time but news travels fast and before 1pm We had another victim on the ramps to look for a knocking noise ....... Another 2 weeks and the Zed Shed 2 Should be in full swing WHOOP WHOOP More updates VERY SOON!!!!!! Keyser and the Zed Shed Crew
  9. I'm Back Hello again one and all, sorry for the lapse had a few things that needed my attention since my dad past in early December, that along with work and some family business I've been other wise engaged. But fear not my fellow Zed Heads I'm still here and still kicking Non illigitamus carborundum So what's been happening on the Zed Shed 2..... I'm sure that's what you are all wondering well we have still been sorting bits out and last Friday these showed up So with Mrs K and a Friday afternoon off we started to get them in place, By 9PM we had this - More in a mo
  10. I have a set that for the right offer you can have But I'm in Bournemouth and couriers won't insure glass so you would need to collect.
  11. I need to finish my garage before I make any plans
  12. I have a Brian James Trailer, (they are top notch BTW) I used to have a Hilux pickup truck that would tow 3 tons I now have a Ford Transit Custom, that will tow 2.5 Tons, now take a Zed @ 1.4 Tons and the trailer @ 900KG and I am towing 2.3 Tons that's close enough to the limit then add spare wheels, fuel and tools for a track day it's easy to go over. The towing weight is the combined weight of everything behind you so the Scooby won't do it (well not legally) doesn't mean it won't actually tow it I've seen worse half the caravans on the road are behind cars not technically capable of pulling them. I also looked at a beaver tail but then it's another vehicle to tax insure maintain etc it can be an issue though, hope you find a good solution
  13. Yer life gets in the way of fun quite a lot I find Keep at it though she is coming along nicley mate - I may even finish my garage in 2016 and get to play again at some point
