Looking at your first picture it looks like the JDM loom is the one for you - no steering controls on your Zed?

You is a lucky man This is a JDM loom AFAIK This is a UK GT spec AFAIK - I think the 3rd wire is for steering controls now the smaller plug on the UK loom is broken but that's the same as the one from the JDM also the larger plug on the UK loom has been butchered a bit could be recovered but it's the same as the big plug from the JDM so between the 2 you should have everything you need...... well add a wiring diagram some solder and a few hours work PM me your Address I'll stick them in a jiffy bag mate

I have the 2 white plugs - but I think they come from a JDM loom so may be different, don't suppose anyone has a picture of what we need do they? Welcome to have the 2 plugs I have mate they have wire on as well

Would be brill if you have....Thanks.... ordered a new HU too... connectors with a little wiring on them would be perfect for matching the wires up, I will have a look tonight see if I have the bits you need - think they are still on the loom though

I might have the connectors your missing on an old wiring loom in the Zed Shed - if that would help

Evening OK so moving onto part 1 of the fuel system Started off with this - I think I can do better To start with look at the 2 outlet pipes They are touching the frame - that's just bad design, add that to braided line and it just rubs the paint off - poor show I also want to use proper fittings which requires hard line adapters to be fitted Yup that's not happening so................ removed the bit that is in the way Not much to it really Then take 2 bits of angle iron that you have laying about trench weld them clean em up reinforce the joint (overkill) Shape and put in the hole weld and clean up some paint to finish Fit hard line adapters using the Christmas presents from the long suffering Mrs Keyser Thanks Hun Jerry rig a pressure test system All is right - now to fit it ............ You know me I like bright colours Using whatever I have at the moment, if we get the engine in and running right then we will do the bodywork and a complete colour change as next winters project.

Just a quick one - The main engine oil cooler top mount is a zip tie - so I made a plate up to allow the rad to bolt in top and bottom I then rather bravely (or stupidly) welded it to the rad Still working on my ally welding - if it holds and the rad does not leak then all is good While the rad was out I found a split that will also need fixing But plenty more bits to fiber glass yet so I will do that at the same time. More soon .....................

So a not so interesting post for you but the work that went in was a lot so a huge shout out to Tim who did the majority of the work on the wiring and planned the layout, here he is hard at it again So I won't bore you with details just a few pics of the job as it came together That's the wiring 90% done as far as the car is concerned, lights ignition circuit, fuel pumps etc etc we just have the AMS 2000 boost controller to mount and then the engine management loom can be installed More soon .........................

O yes now that I like Do keep us updated awesome DIY project If your ever bored drop by mine got to fabricate a new charge cooler setup very soon you'd be welcome along to help with that

Was typing as you replied - won't be a cheap option if the handling is all to **** mate.

As above always change springs / shocks in pairs - AFAIK the springs will fit DE to HR but you should change the pair as mileage and driving style will make a difference to the spring recoil and strength.

No, they still come with the arch extensions. But whilst getting some other work done on the car (update to follow) I started removing them. Still need to take the rears off. I don't like the look of them, much cleaner removed IMO. You dropping in this weekend to show her off then mate?????

Moving swiftly onto some more engineering (cause I love it) I wanted to sort out a problem with the paddle shift Pro-Shift system or at least it's mounting, Now I assume that as these are a standard kit and Radical just put them on as they come from the manufacturer the problem is the standard busa does not have a dry sump or a huge oil pipe next to where the actuator goes, So the standard mounting plate looks like this - and would normally fit onto the end plate like so but it hits the oil pipe and is slowly wearing into it this is what it hits I also found out that it won't fit my new billet cover anyway so time to make a replacement that will fit and move the actuator over about 9mm Raw material rough cut start milling to do the curves I made this pin on the lathe mounted that on the rotary table bolt the new bit down that did the curves then I did a recess to fit the billet cover and one for the offset not a bad copy test fit shows I now have clearance all assembled and lined up Happy with that (it will probably fail as I only did it once ) More Soon ..........................

That reminds me - I took the wife on a long weekend to Amsterdam for her birthday a few years back - but it was a surprise for her, to do it I needed her boss to give her Friday off but not tell her and fair play he rearranged her diary on Thursday night and text me to say all was good he asked me where we were going and where we were staying and wished us an enjoyable weekend, when we arrived at the hotel there was a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne waiting with a "thank you for all your hard work" note from her boss - it didn't cost a lot but the thought that went into it and to actually take the time to do it really was very nice, so yes money is always great to get but sometimes it's not just the £££££££ that make you feel good
