  1. Nice Zed some great pics as well Coming along nicley
  2. It will be hard to repair - not impossible but it would have to be sanded back to get the cracks out then a LOT of coats of clear to first fill the deep marks then flat back more clear and repeat until all smooth again. I know how you feel clipped the front of my CF splitter and chipped all the clear off
  3. I have no interest in fashion so I can't comment knowlegbly I wear Jeans and a T-Shirt most of the time and tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt while sitting in front of my PC for work cause it's comfy. But I must say it's an excellent thread and I had a good laugh reading it - although Ricey that's just scary mate
  4. Nothing useul to add - just thought I'd wish you the best trying to sort it out, I hate this sort of thing, feel your pain
  5. Yer cause your car has looked the same for 2 days in a row - not surprised you felt the urge to change something

  10. Moving swiftly on to the second bit of the fuel system, This is the sort of piping I'm replacing as it needs it. New connectors New hose I'm trying this push on pipe, supposed to be the dogs so I thought I would see for myself First pipe made up Seems OK to me looks good and the reinforcement is inside so it doesn't wear things like externally braided line does (and it's lighter ) so moving on Its a low pressure circuit that feeds back into the tank which has a built in swirl pot this in turn goes through the high pressure circuit that will feed the fuel rail then back to the tank via a pressure regulator. In the old system it went around the outside and was a tight fit between the roll cage and radiator so I have fed it into 2 bulk head connectors (feed and return) in the engine bay ready to hook up to the fuel rail/injectors I think if nothing else it looks a lot better than before as in - More soon .....................

  12. Hello anyone still keeping an eye on me, few more bits done so thought I'd bring you up to speed, I mentioned the primer didn't take on the dash it came off like this - to be fair it was rather old primer anyway to be sure I started again It all went well so gave it a top coat and we fitted it back in the Radical and wired it all up few close ups Hope you like it (Andybp please note pics in focus ) More soon ............................
  13. And good looking too You forgot modest
  14. I've seen you drive - I'll be happy to stay with you Mind you with all that rear wing you may have more aero than me
  15. Nice work Jez - that should be fun on track : If I get the Radical done we can have a shake down run together with them at castle combe
  16. Well on the plus side the Zed will be quicker from weight loss alone Do keep us updated
  17. Yup that's fairly extreme, are you planning on welding inlet pipes to that now? I just can't see the big picture yet, The bit that plenum bolts to would have given a similar result but that would be pointing up not "out" No doubt all will be come apparent (or not) as the build proceeds
  18. Along Good luck with the issues, gearboxes do go but oil and moly may give you an extended stay on that, 5th usually goes first though then 3rd. Plenty of info on the forum though - fans do stick, there is a "how to" for cleaning them or try Zmanalex for a pre-owned set failing that after market options are available
  19. Welcome Back Hope that beauty is gonna make an appearance at the Zed Shed II
