Suzanne the LS3 6.2 V8! Caution very long build thread....
Keyser replied to Wasso's topic in Member Build Projects
Well I did loads of hard work on this build and then I get asked to do even more hard work and get put out of my way even further! After the MOT / Insurance / Tax was all sorted out Wasso wanted me to drive the car back to his house while he followed on in his luxo barge Alpha, I mean can you imagine that someone asking you to drive their brand new 400 plus horsepower toy over a 100 miles for them (and before they had even driven it properly themselves) !!!!!! But what can I say I’m a nice guy so I said I would Observations, Every motorway / main road in the UK that we needed to use was shut on Friday night!!! I had to drive an extra 60 odd miles – gutted She is very easy to drive in a civilised and sensible manner no fuss no drama just like OEM If you actually dare press the loud pedal more than a few mm down she takes off like a scolded cat – the power delivery is immense She will benefit from the new LSD – also noticed this while testing (on private property) the stock LSD cannot handle that amount of torque nicely. The lack of any sort of traction control means if it rains (and it did) you need to be gentle with the power but that can be said of any performance car, it’s just that there is no safety net – as in no computer to slap you and bring you back in line if you lose concentration. Not a problem just an observation. Your gonna need a bigger fuel tank Overall it was great fun and we have already done over 300 miles in her since the MOT with no real issues just a little rub/squeak from the zorst but that is actually at the back so it’s just an adjustment issue. As Ian posted ball park costs I’m happy to point out all the problems we had to overcome but in all honesty it is not that hard to do if it was we couldn’t have done it But Ian did a LOT of research before the build was started and we had an A. and a B. plan for most of the areas we knew would come up – still had to go to plan C, D and E for a few things though Enjoy her Ian and we will see you again soon for some fine tuning Keyser -

OMG OMG OMG OMG OK guys forget your superchargers forget your turbos and your twin turbos GET ONE OF THESE!!!!!!!! I’m sure Wasso won’t mind me spilling the beans, took her in for MOT today and she passed I just took her for a drive and wow, the noise the acceleration and the torque Mmmm the torque it is in a word awesome !!!! She is road legal now and I recon Wasso should be smiling this summer Got a few little bits to do and plenty can be tweaked and improved upon but apart from the overly sensitive throttle she is GREAT! I’ll let Wasso fill in the blanks (when he stops test driving her) it may have taken us some time but I think the end result was worth the wait. Hats off to Wasso for sticking with the build we have had some problems to overcome and when we could not get the clutch setup at all and 3 slave cylinders imported from America later we were close to giving up but he stuck with it and we got there in the end. So we have the first road legal LS3 powered V8 350z on the forum Welcome Suzzane. -

Any "reviews" from those with 400-450whp S/C setups?
Keyser replied to TMPL's topic in Forced Induction
Mine was 450+ at the rear wheels without NOS over 500 with the NOS - fully built engine, cams, headers, water meth, NOS etc etc all suspension and brakes upgraded that was certainly a different Zed to drive after the work Having said that I drove (for a very short distance) the LS conversion 350z we are currently working on and my first impression is that it's gonna be a complete beast - You pays ya money and ya takes ya choice -
If we get anymore she left me I'm alone posts on here it will be an agony aunt forum! Congrats/Commiserations on the sale

Very hard to get a perfect colour match - also the bumper is "plastic" the bit above is metal so they take paint slightly different even if sprayed together, front bumper is plastic bonnet ally and wings mild steel so they can change shades as you move round the car at different angles, on top of that the paint on the car will have faded due to age/sunlight etc. You could have it blended but a perfect match will always be a problem I'm sorry to say

Zoom Q2n camera and a live video of my band.....
Keyser replied to nowhereboy's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I have no knowledge of music whatsoever I never know what category it goes in I probably don’t know the band/artist that performed it, even if I know all the words, it was said of me that the only musical instrument I will ever play is a cassette recorder So I simply base it on if I like it or not and I actually thought that was alright defo post some more up for us to listen to and I will happily offer my expert opinion on them -

Yes but when your welding is as bad as mine you have to grind it back to make it look good - besides the powder coat will hold it together
