Been a while, Last 2 I remember where in the "Bitch" when I first got it I got stopped for "No MOT" which I had, got a stroppy officer who did not want to believe that it was because I had imported the car from Ireland and I did have an MOT done under the VIN number and had to wait for the new MOT to be switched to the number plate, No he wasn’t happy his computer was right I was wrong etc etc After a lot of radio calls, typing on the computer in the police car eventually they found out I was right the car was road legal (mentions of no MOT = no valid insurance as well!) and sent me on my way he didn’t even apologise for it just justified it all with “we have to follow what the computer tells us†It only annoyed me as he spent at least 10 minutes telling me the computer was never wrong and I was obviously mistaken (lying) Second time a few months later – couldn’t have asked for a nicer officer, pulled me up started with “sorry to trouble you this evening sir†then asked if I had recently change the colour of my car – now driving a bright green Zed “Yes officer†just last week I tell him sent the V5 off already he just said “no problem – the records just haven’t caught up on the computer yet, HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, sorry to bother you have a pleasant evening †O the irony Not been stopped since that I can remember anyway.

Most would say if it ain't broke don't fix it Engineers like you say "if it ain't broke you haven't modified it enough yet" Anyway I'm a great believer in over engineering things as it's great fun

Like that a lot I can see the linkage being "fun" but having seen your previous engineering skills I'm sure it will be an overally complicate and elegant solution:)

I have to say I thought the same as docwra he could have gone round the mog, I watched it again, the island does restricted that option I recon in a decent "sporty" car he could have got round him so maybe if the pug was the mog they could have missed each other, BUT taking on board other comments - age of the pug the fact he was under heavy breaking I doubt that even if he had turned the wheel he would have made it round and if he didn't the impact could have been worse. Mind you if he had of had a sporty car with decent tyres and brakes he probably would have managed to stop anyway.

Carried on for a bit, probably through shock, but did then pull up a few hundred metres up the road. Nah, I think you will. If you have the presence of forethought to think about it now, you'll more than likely do so on the day. This is how I deal with accidents, and it's a pre-planned thing I've drummed into myself to make sure I do it by instinct. - Move to a safe place if necessary. - If not, then engine off straight away. - Make sure myself and my passenger/s are physically fine. - Make sure the other driver and their passenger/s are physically fine. People always take priority over cars. - Judge mental state of the other person. If they're being aggressive, police straight away. - If okay, grab phone and take as many pics of everything. My car, his car, location, traffic density, weather, CCTV. Anything and everything. - Only then do I start exchanging details. Ask to see driving licence and take a photo if possible (most people will let you do this, as it's unusual and they can't see anything wrong with it. However, don't let them take a photo of yours, just say you don't have it on you!). Name, address, car details, time, date, signature. - Go home and have a beer. Each to their own, people will probably disagree with the order or various details in that, but I work on the basis that I want to make sure everyone goes home alive first. Wow Dan, I've not yet had enough accidents to have a check sheet drawn up, do you have that list on a clipboard in the back of the car? I jest of course I know Dan can drive I've chased him round a race track

In my opinion those lids never look that good, chances of getting some in a colour match is slim, not sure if one of the traders on here sells them, try Tarmac Sports, CS (cougar store) or Torquen, for paint you can go to any decent automotive paint supplier and they should be able to colour match and make you a rattle can of the correct colour up Keep an eye on the for-sale section in here as well. Good luck

How did you know she picked the colour ???? Cheers mate Because Kim and I have great taste in colour Both have always loved the colour purple so just presumed it was Kim who persuaded you to go purple So all purple or purple and orange.... maybe purple and green would also work Yup she picked the purple - won't be porple and orange the second colour is already here, maybe green would go with purple, maybe just some black highlights - you will see very soon EDIT: You're so modest Steve

I told you that you would love the diff on track I will try and come along to a few of the events this year and cheer you on. Is now a good time to remind you "Push The Button"

Hi all, Well the Radical is still up at Big CC having the turbo modified to fit so we have been busy on the bodywork as it's still here - After many hours of filling and sanding the rear section was ready for primer - Then onto colour Now this will surprise a lot of you as it is not GREEN!!!! But it's not blue either Thats just the camera - my first coat was not up to standard may be as I've not used this paint before or it maybe just that it was a bit colder than I thought, stripped it down added heat to the garage and the second coat went a lot better, I also used my phone to take the pics as the colour comes out propery Yes it's purple More soon .......................
