  1. I think that would be mine then thankyou sir Good Job all and well done Andy We can also report the flag stands worked even in the strong wind - and they even have carry bags thanks to Mrs Keyser
  2. These are a PITA - most likley you created air bubbles when you boiled the fluid, bleeding has moved the air so it is now trapped, I have done loads of these and had every result bleeding them from a 5 mintue bleed and perfect to 5 days of hell. The only thing that has never failed me (and this works on LS v8 conversions as well is the wood trick - pump the clutch until as firm as it will get - place a rag against the seat and then with a bit of wood from the seat wedge the clutch pedal down. Leave overnight, in the morning remove wood and bleed again, even if the pedal feels OK in the morning bleed again! That has never failed me unless there is actually a leak or a failed slave cylinder, I haven't yet had a master cylinder fail but that can happen. Good Luck
  3. Open face helmet is fine unless you are in a convertible. I race with one as you have better visibility. Us real men have full face helmets and race open top

  9. Pretty sure they have outside taps near the toilets (cold only) - bring your own bucket - most will have quick detailer to wipe over the cars on arrival Andy James and Humpy will have a full detailing kit tyre shine and numerous clothes in the boot the only difference is Humpy's will be in a bag that it takes 2 strong men to lift and Andy's will be organised in alphabetical order or size of bottle in his meticulously arranged boot. Before anyone says That's harsh ask either of them if I'm lying O so looking forwards to the weekend The banter starts here

  11. *** ALL FROM EXPERIENCE NOT OFFICIAL *** We left the hotel (about 10 mins away) last year at 7AM ish to convoy down, queues were building at that time of day and one major crash (think it was the RX7 owners) one parked in the back of another as they got to the back of the queue! Usually the convoy from wherever agrees the times amongst themselves the night before and all aim for that but we always seem to aim around 7am even when it was at Combe and that has queues for miles!!!! Once in the marshals direct you to our allotted area (they are very good) and you meet up with everyone, someone from the club will assist lining the cars up and making us presentable it’s all unofficial I have done it (just make sure Buster isn’t parking you as he is OCD and even gets your wheels aligned the same ) If you are late it will be at the discretion of the marshals they usually say no entry to show stands after a set time, however if you ask nicely and get a helpful guy/girl they will usually sort something, unlike pure static meets cars are moving in the show as they go on and off track etc so they will "bend" the rules sometimes to accommodate you should a disaster occur (try not to sleep in ) Driving in and from about 10 plus miles out there is usually a police presence. They are usually very good and take the whole thing in good spirt, they just want to keep traffic flowing and everyone safe, having said that if you drive like a d1ck they WILL pull you and most likely throw the book at you as an example to others, and to be fair with that many cars and people about you can sort off see their point and I for one don’t want someone slamming into my motor because they need to prove that they can drift on a roundabout in a huge queue of traffic. Have fun all, drive safe and see you all Sunday. Keyser and the Zed Shed Crew

  20. Been a while, Last 2 I remember where in the "Bitch" when I first got it I got stopped for "No MOT" which I had, got a stroppy officer who did not want to believe that it was because I had imported the car from Ireland and I did have an MOT done under the VIN number and had to wait for the new MOT to be switched to the number plate, No he wasn’t happy his computer was right I was wrong etc etc After a lot of radio calls, typing on the computer in the police car eventually they found out I was right the car was road legal (mentions of no MOT = no valid insurance as well!) and sent me on my way he didn’t even apologise for it just justified it all with “we have to follow what the computer tells us†It only annoyed me as he spent at least 10 minutes telling me the computer was never wrong and I was obviously mistaken (lying) Second time a few months later – couldn’t have asked for a nicer officer, pulled me up started with “sorry to trouble you this evening sir†then asked if I had recently change the colour of my car – now driving a bright green Zed “Yes officer†just last week I tell him sent the V5 off already he just said “no problem – the records just haven’t caught up on the computer yet, HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, sorry to bother you have a pleasant evening †O the irony Not been stopped since that I can remember anyway.
