DATE CHANGE TO SUNDAY 6th AUGUST Hi All, Once again it is time to hold the Zed Shed annual BBQ and celebrate Keyser Juniors Birthday. Same as always informal BBQ at the Zed Shed, open invite to forum members, spaces are limited by parking and how much food we can actually cook So please put your name down if you fancy it I’m always asked, “what would you like us to bring†Well ……………… Fold up chairs (we usually run out) Drinks – There will be plenty of soft drinks here but feel free to bring anything you like, we may have a few cans of larger and a bottle of wine, we are not drinkers here, again feel free to bring your own FOR + 1’s please drivers don’t drink! Humpy – Steak (he always does ) Some brought cake last year – that went down well A sense of humour Think that’s it

Put the O rings in a plastic bag and stick them in the freezer while you do the rest of the job - they shrink back down and are easier to put back in

They had me at the description General product description for doors with GRS The LSD hinges "Made in Germany" convince by their easy installation at the original mounting points and their perfect fit. By the adjustable roller guiding of the Guided Roller System (GRS), the entire movement of the swivel arm is forced in each position by the two-dimensional adjustment possibility with adjustable guide rollers of the roller bearing in order to ensure a precise opening and closing of the door. A gas spring which matches the weight of the door keeps the door in position when it is completely opened. Proved in everyday life: With the LSD hinges, the original doors first open up to 30° outwards, then they are guided safely upwards without to immediately slide upwards independently. 100% Vehicle specific Each LSD application was newly developed for each vehicle type. All major vehicle dimensions were considered. Therefore each application is individually and tailor made. - Functional overall solution for every day - Installation at the original mounting points without structural changes - part certificate - Tested according to the Traffic Regulations, ECE- and EC Directives

Haha, no probs, I probably could find a neater way if I was keeping it, but decided to sell so only fitted it like that to test it. Need the money for some other parts and installation costs. I'm in Poole. Aren't you in Ferndown near to Bob? Haha, yes installation included if installed the same way as I pictured above í ½í¸‚ No Bob lives near me Have we met then???? -

Thanks for the info mate and making the effort - I just made the assumption you had "hard wired" in and then put just the iPhone in the cubby - of course assumption is the mother of all c**k ups Makes perfect sense now - where in Dorset are you?? -

Are you plugging it into the Aux port in the cubby then? I assumed the RCA was going into the Video in on the HU (where you put the reversing camera) -

Hats off your a brave man -
A guess but I think it should be clipped along the tunnel maybe under the carpet not had one-off in a few weeks
-
Your wiring loom must have been moved around as the one with the gray clip that is disconnected and the the other with the grey clip should not be there, my guess is that the loom has been moved around at some point and just put back in a bit out of line, strip the cover off and have a look see whats what. Ref other comment above, yes you do get wires from the standard looms that are just left un-connected if that car does not have the relevant feature
