  1. Due to a strange set of circumstances I have 2 sets of Berks HFC's, One brand new and waiting to go on in place of the DeCats when I get my piggy back ECU and remap done. The other are "a few years old" and came with the SC Zed I bought from Steady, They passed the NCT? (Irish MOT equivalent) last year but failed a UK MOT this year .... the inspector said they probably needed warming up but didn't have time so he put standard CATs on and passed the MOT. Now the stupid question - apart from putting them on my car and getting an emission test done is there any way of knowing if they are working correctly? I want to sell them but don't want to sell something that's not working! I assume the answer is "put them back on and get an emissions test" but thought it would be fun to see how much abuse I got for asking.
  2. My last Zed clutch was very high, never gave me any problems no slip and was fine on track. The new 350 is nicley setup ans is lower but has a JWT clutch and flywheel so that may be the difference!?
  3. Blocks I cant afford blocks!!! Your not old enough to shave
  4. Was that an offer to host it??? The full set ..... not the plan but a great idea Dave have you been talking to my wife? Thats what she said! Alright it's not immaculate but it is a runner and it does have some very redeeming features, It just so happens that the rear LSD and brakes can be transplanted into a 260Z. My research leads me to believe that tuning the standard 260Z engine is a bit like a 350Z (expensive) This little baby has a V6 turbo charged engine ....... I'm sure your all way ahead of me here, this is the donor car for the up and coming 260Z restoration project! If I can pull it off it will cost less than a set of triple Webbers for a 260 and give me more power! Well that's the plan, collecting this one (on a trailer) Friday. I will be spending the next few weekends building my garage. Then its project time....... will keep you posted!
  5. OK Thought I'd make you all jealous with this bargain I picked up on eBay. As you can see absolutely immaculate in every respect OK OK Maybe it needs a wash, clay bar and polish?

Does NOT describe Jed's Zed Love the chequered flag and could be me but I hadn't noticed the white pinstripe lines on the front I like them as well.
