  1. Nice mate like the actuators Don't worry I ordered something else today (you know what) just to make you jealous Just need to get the torch out and get it all fitted now.
  2. Finished another stage in the project The sandblasting is done - well at least the big bits, there will be some clips and bits that are with other assemblies but I can run them through my cabinet which doesn't make too much mess. took this before I cleaned it Another pile of clean bits So massive clean up tomorrow (hopefully) then get some primer on these ASAP before they start to rust and I have to do it all over again That's all folks ...................
  3. Looking at this myself - I was runing PF's with DS2500 and they do stop ya well compared to stock they are an improvement IMO I needed new rear disks and was going to go for DBA's then I picked up an Ebay speacial Ksport BBK rear disks and 6 pot calipers for less than the DBA's. After lots of surfing around the Ksport seem to be marmite not much in the middle they are either slated or loved. Still deciding weather to go Ksport on the front 8 pot or push the boat out and get some stop tech (twice the price!) Not much help I suppose sorry
  4. I'll tell you what, It's a lot more work than it looks to go that bit further and do the lot! I've been on just the underside for a good week now 2-3 hours most nights and 2 full weekends and I've not finished cleaning everything yet!!! Hopefully be worth it though Well it's 10AM Sunday morning time to fire up the compressor and wake the neighbours I want to finish sandblasting all the big bits today!!
  5. That's why I'm trying to get it all done by tomorrow night then I can get on with a primer coat on everything - not such a rush on the ally bits obviously but the rest need a coat of something ASAP.
  6. Clean clean clean clean Trying to get the sandblasting done by the end of the weekend Before pic forgot the after DOH! Clean bit's pile is getting bigger than the "to clean" pile That's all folks .............
  7. Needs must when the devil drives Good luck with the buisness
  8. I was asked about the sandblasting setup so for anyone who wants to see how I do it here it is - probably more interesting at this point of the project anyway. OK I have a corner of the Zedshed setup like this just to the right is the sand blaster I have Behind the green tarp where it all happens After a session I just tip it together in the tarp Then it is filtered back into the blaster which stops this going back in and blocking the nozzle A trip through the "chamber" turns to I have 3 dust sheets and 4 tarps over the Zed and after about 8 hours blasting the top cover looks like this That's a blue tarp Honest But the pile of clean bits is getting bigger That's all folks ................
  9. I seem to detect a large number of similarities in the list above and a recent email conversation Nice one mate great kit You know I'm up for package 2 early next year
  10. I'm still a Chris have been since ...... well as long as I can remeber! Thought I'd clear that up in case Chris (OP) is getting worried
  11. for the PS rad - he may have a pre-owned one Unlucky with the fox mate I wouldn't want to pull what was left out
  12. Hello and Welcome Low compression with a supercharger? Don't go to low they don't give that much boost - go to high (like me) and spend all your time worrying about detonation lol IMHO you would need a lot of custom intake and plenum work in a tight space to run twin SC and probably not get much if any more boost than a Vortech V3. TT is the way to go for big boost figures as Neil says. FI is a slippery slope and not the cheapest hobby to have, great to see a different approach and I will watch with interest if you decide to have a go.... Good luck
  13. Nice - If I'd not just bought my clutch and it wasnt December I would have had this! GLWTS
  14. Hello and Welcome Good luck with the hunt
  15. Would have to have a tidy up first....... I think he needs some shelving I would but it won't fit I have now taken over the shed in the back garden for storage
