2 thick coats and I'm using commercial vehicle paint - same stuff they use on lorries its fine for underneath but you wouldn't want to paint the car with it.

Just to show I'm not slacking off did a bit more again today. Had my Birthday off and did a favour for a friend - I'll let him decide if he wants to post (not a complete success sorry mate) Anyway it back in the black today Hang em up (deja vu) Paint em Black There is still loads of bits unpainted!!! O OK then Ksport D2 Akebono

Hi all, OK looking at options for a new front BBK on my Zed and I'm still debating but I thought with your help we could make it a mass debate. (sorry) 3 options based on budget are - 1. Akebono 370 upgrade kit 356mm disks Nissan 370 callipers. 2. Ksport 356mm 8 pot callipers - unfortunately I'm looking at a 3 month wait for these. 3. D2 356mm 8 pot callipers - Not much info on these although a few guys in the states seem to rate them. I'm leaning towards trying the D2's at the moment as the Ksports are not available and these are basically identical spec. Over to you guys n gals ????

Very quick update tonight....... Biggles showed up and the usual green thing happened Also got a new toy today which with the assistance of Buster was soon assembled and ready to go (just need the last few bushes to arrive now) 12 ton press sweet. That's all folks ..........

BLOG BLOG BLOG So firstly the plastic seems to have come out OK no issues so far - You can see the condition of the bits here But they are still solid so won't be replacing them just yet, other bits came out somewhat better Normal couple of hours as I can only spray a few bits at a time due to space restrictions. Hang em up Turn em green Even the big bits One more sub assembly finished and ready to go That's all folks ..................................

Today was a bit of an experiment - only had a few hours this afternoon as the cold weather means I have to leave the top coat a bit longer to be dry enough to take of the hangers safely. Quick teaser shot of the collection building up under that car so onto the experiment I hung some plastic up - then used this, it was recommended as a good thing to prep the plastic with and there are a few bits under a Zed - mine look a little tatty so I thought I'd see if I could spruce them up a bit weird stuff to spray it's like water and although its silver in the pot it goes on translucent 2 bits preped Notice the run like I say its like spraying water No I can't see the difference on this bit either?!? Any way it only takes 10 mins at 18 Degrees to cure so I then put the primer on and last thing today a coat of poly black Will report back tomorrow after its dries and tell you if it's a waste of time or not. That's all folks .............................
