Well its a start mate
I think they should be on together like that.
I think if you have one fan on and the aircon is on it should kick the second one in - or you have a bad connection?
Let me know - If that wiring is right Ill do it on mine as well
No I have a set of mishimoto slimline fans and a Koyo ally rad to go on - I just thought if something goes wrong while testing better to break the old one
Need a new battery now, mine was not good last year and it died after about 2 starts of the new engine.
Well lets see the engine hasnt been started for over a year - the ECU is mapped to a different engine it has aftermarket cams and a different compression ratio.
I thought it was doing quite well to start
But maybe my standards are just to low for you
Hi all,
Well I did a bit more today and decided that I had to be sure that what I had done so far was working OK before I reassembled the entire front end and then found a problem.
So half an exhaust fitted an old milk crate and some bits of wood to support the FMIC and RAD
Then a delay as I had to take my daughter to the open evening at the college she hope to be attending
Then around 9pm Buster showed up to take the blame if it went wrong!
Not going to say anymore instead I have posted the unedited video of the next 2 minutes enjoy..... (click to play)
THE BITCH IS BACK!
Just so you know my wife has named my Zed "The Bitch" as I spend more time and money on it than I do on her
Also took this (click to play)

The simplest solutions are always the best!
Big thanks to Carl for the info and it worked mate
The offending article
Gone
Problem solved
OK OK took this one from the old engine
cleaned it up and fitted it on - bags of room
Cables on the other side were close
So added a few plastic clips and zipties to keep them clear
swapped the brass SC oil injector (Left) for the stainless steel one (right) as I have heard the brass ones can split
nice new oil return pipe (right)
Fuel pump assembly assembled
sender fitted
some fuel and just in case I got something wrong!
Got to here tonight
Spun her over fuel everywhere so the pump works then
Tightened the fuel return line
Spun her again
Got fuel and oil pressure, belts are all clear - start on the plenum tomorrow.

Yer that lot should have been sprayed red, yellow, green and black and if the suspensions out why not a quick go with the sandblaster and some fresh underseal?
faster - not sure
more color - definatley
fitted back together correctly - Errrrrr TBC
Well now then we have another problem in the rebuild processes.
Reassembled the SC mounting plate and SC tonight then offered it up to the engine and found a problem.
It doesn't fit!!!!
The jack shaft drive pulley hits the input plug for the VTC solenoid Ahhhhhhhhhh
Not easy to see I know but trust me it hits it.
Not sure why but the old engine solenoid has the plug further round than this one.
So looks like a bit of plug modifying and relocating is on the cards for tomorrow night.
But to make myself feel better I polished this
