  1. Well if you're going to have a car with a knackered engine on your drive it should at least look good so the Mods have started Note the new wheels and stubby a test with black Rays So it has begun
  2. Sure they are LM's? They look like rotas from that rear 3/4 view? Are they the 18's? Rota's are available as a copy Yes they are 18's from the wheels so they is genuine (from what I can tell anyway)
  3. I sent a text to Bob last night and said we could slip his car in on Sunday morning. He asked "what time?" I said "Anytime after 10am - gotta think of the neighbours" 10:00:01 Sunday the 11th March - So we tried the BK's on the black Zed - then Bob pulled his car out so I went to get my Keys. When I came back Too late again LOL But it wasn't long before the Ginger Ninja's brakes were done so I jumped in my car again and So I cut this up on the drive instead and tried the LMGT's on my Zed Did a bit more wiring and had an early night That's all folks .............................

  6. After a mad week in the Zedshed I can finally get round to posting - I have had a few late nights this week with wiring mostly but got there in the end. Massive shout out to Bob for a monumental effort today (and that was just getting out of bed ) No seriously the man took a day of work and spent the whole day here working with me Thanks mate So what have I/we been up to - (in no particular order) Power steering rad plumbed in I added some clips behind the crash bar to help route the pipes then into the engine bay Presents in the post today Thanks Neil I popped into Maplins this week and bought this lot and made this I have added resistors into the circuit to make the LED's slightly dimmer and a relay that switches to higher rated resistors at night - the relay is activated by the side lights so the Led's dim with the rest of the dash at night So rolled her out today Bob was back on the "woman's work" and found something ??? Water meth bottle mounted in the boot Bob is getting good on installing Bride seats Dash and seats all in I just wanted to tidy up all my wire connectors - Bob says I'm anal ??!!! Bit of modification to the front ARB mount to clear the SC pipe Then we fitted the ARB Drop links going on by the end of the day all lit up Arch liners all installed tomorrow I will cut the front bumper down to clear the PS rad We have Bob's in tomorrow but hope to just about have mine finised ready for the tuners on the 19th. That's all folks ..............................

  15. No, no, no, that cage looks terrible mate and it will get in the way as you get in and out, you'll always have to wear a helmet or get that ugly padding put on etc etc. Don't worry I know someone that will take it of your hands, just get it ripped out! O well worth a try Jealous of that cage mate and it looks better than I thought - re-spray has brought it up like new She's looking good mate - not long now and you'll be back behind the wheel
  16. There it is Will get to quote this again soon mate
  17. A few hours of my life that I'll never get back was wasted over the last 2 days solving this riddle! My NOS blankets are wired up onto relay 1 and 2 as shown below The Max Extreme is the NOS controller and Output 1 - 0v (to earth) when "on". This is connected to the negative side of the relays and activates if the pressure in the bottles is below a preset pressure. The problem is that when you turn both switches on it works, both switches off fine, switch 1 on switch 2 off is fine and switch 2 on switch 1 off works fine. However if you turn the output from the NOS controller OFF so nothing should work relay 2 comes on if switch 1 is on? WTF????? Turns out that this - Has a very strange fault the load side of the switch shorts to earth when off - Supplier is sending a replacement out 1st class so then as I had to do this To my dash. When it arrives I can put it all back together again! Had some issues with wires behind the dash so out came the dremel Sorted Bob was over tonight and we got the crash bar off, drilled and the PS cooler mounted Happy with that except it's too shiny - not stealthy enough So - Now you see it and now you don't. Well you do but you won't That's all folks ............................
  18. I'll have one in 2 weeks (SC & NOS'd Zed) assuming it doesn't blow up on the dyno Do your homework lots of research then lots more - work out if you can afford it then make sure you have a reserve budget! Do it right and you should be fine I hammered mine round track let it cool down for 30 minutes and happily drove home in her on several occasions, maybe mine just didn't make any worrying noises? They can be a daily with SC but mine isn't you don't want to go passed 500hp on stock internals IMHO but if you want more the budget will need to be VERY big! Again IMHO supporting mods are as important as the engine so brakes, suspension, bushes, engine management, and even gauges to keep an eye on it all are all needed and put the budget up! just my 2p
  19. It will be much, much more complicated than that and if it isn't rest assure me and Bob will find a way to make it I'll post it up with pics any way so you will all know as soon as the bits arrive
  20. Challenge on then Mate (Bob get ya overalls on there’s modifications to be done) I’m in for the £600 pack plus the fender brace(s) I assume they come as a pair?
