I was just letting you all know how I feel New injectors have arrived and are fitted Water Injector was being hooked up at 5pm (when I called) Glass is being removed from the bolt holes in the lower plenum hope none got in the engine!!!!!!! It shouldn't as it cant get past the bolts but I should have spotted it was there! They hope to give it a try tomorrow morning to see if she runs - But she won't be coming home this week. I miss her already!!!!!! May have to do an engine change in the "other Zed" this weekend just for something to do! Will let you know more when I do

Well I got up at 6Am and was on the road by 630 with an ETA of 9AM, pulled in to AME at 8:59AM after an uneventful and reasonably pleasant drive up. That was where things stopped going quite so smoothly!!!! As soon as I got there they rolled her into one of the garages and started to strip down the plenum The idea was to change the injectors drill and bolt the NOS injector into the plenum, run a compression test then load a base map into the ECU. Had that all gone well and we would fire her up ready for the first dyno without any of the extras. First problem was the injectors were too short for my AAM fuel rails. Dan had some rails but no mounts - this wasn't the end though as they soon fabricated some new mounts. The lower plenum was then treated to some work 4 new helicoils for some damaged threads and the upper plenum was drilled and threaded for the NOS injector which was also installed. Then the injectors were tested but did not pass So new Injectors that will fit my rails have been ordered for tomorrow and hopefully she may get her first Dyno run late Tuesday afternoon. She wasn't coming home today as the water/meth and NOS has to be setup and a full tune on the Dyno but it would have been nice to actually see her running properly, but it was not to be. I did see Neil's car They started her up so I could hear just how loud it was OMG It is loud but not actually as loud as I thought it would be - mind you it was in an open carpark - it has a very heavy base note so it may be loud inside on the motorway etc. I did like the sound when they blipped the throttle though So nothing much to report on mine will let you know how it goes tomorrow. The day that seemed so far away has arrived!!! The moment of truth so to speak in just a few short days I'll know if I have a monster or a very expensive pile of poo!!!!!! Nervous much?!!!?? So Friday night all arranged for Bob to swing by and get her finished as I was collecting the trailer on Saturday. Unfortunately I had a major problem on one of my site's and had a call out at 10pm and didn't get back until midnight! We did manage to get a bit done and got to here Cutting fine but my tyre man came through and these have now arrived just in time ! So Saturday I went and got the trailer and when Bob got here we put Z speed on Very happy with it! Strengthens up the front bumper fits well and looks the part - no pics on as the cars to low. Then the bonnet went on Finished engine bay All loaded up ready for Monday morning Of course the Zedshed is never empty for long Bob and his suspension Thanks buddy, I'd never have got her ready without your help That's all folks .....................
