  6. My 2003 UK GT 350 has after market front bumper with no washers My 2003 JDM 350 has standard front bumper with no washers If I am reading the new MOT correctly both will now fail - except the JDM never had washers?!!?? My mates limo was picked up for tinted (factory fitted) rear windows - MOT guy said thats a fail next year!!!! If either fail I am going to put smoe small windscreen type jets on the bumper and hook them up to the rear windscreen washer pump - hope that will be OK???
  7. I thought that implied that the Clio had simlar problems at simlar speeds - as I think Neil did. BTW that response was uncalled for IMO! As others have said mixed tyres are not good on a Zed - RT says check your tyre pressures (good idea) - the car kills power when it kicks in but I don't think it actually breaks. I assume there are no leaves, oil or any other things on this paticulat corener that could be causing it? Could you perhaps expalin a little better what happened - if you were following a landrover at 60mph and he made the bend surely even if traction control kicked in it can't have been that mad? or are we all missing the point?
  8. OK Got the engine all bolted in and she won't start. No spark!! So after messing with the aftermarket bodged in alarm for 2 hours we assumed that was working OK. Cam and crank positon sensors can stop the car sparking so we took the Drivers side Cam position sensor out and put it mine - Mine doesn't start Ah Ha - But when we put mine back in the Black Zed still no spark - tried the same with the crank position sensor - same thing stops mine running but with both my cam and crank position sensors swapped the black one won't start and still no spark! So we will try the passenger side cam position sensor next - but I can't see all 3 have gone!!??? - but if they haven't why do they stop mine running?? Can something blow all of them? When I swap them back mine runs fine again AHHHHH Anyone want to suggest what it could be?? or what to try??? I hate electrical problems!
  9. GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's 0900 - what does the O stand for? O My God It's Early (for a Sunday) But I have work to do!! Got to get this baby fired up today. First a quick apology SORRY There that's done I didn't take many pics as we (Bob and I) did not have the easiest of days yesterday!!! We bolted the last few bits on the engine then put the starter motor on and did an oil pressure test NOTHING!!!! about 3 hours and after numerous attempts to bleed the oil pump we finally got there! Engine together oil pressure tested gearbox on IT WILL FIT told ya! Just gotta get it wired and plumbed in then we can give her a test fire!!!! Autobots!! Let's roll.....................

  14. +1 Do the mileage allowance (you're supposed to keep a log of every journey start and end mileage) Unless it's a commercial vehicle it's the best option mate. 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p per mile after that. That's according to my accountant (wife)
  15. You are gonna look like the ultimate panic buyer - top up every 10 miles Half a tank top it up use that and start again
